Next day Ro decided to trouble Vi instead of Jaddu. However Vi had different plans.

"Ro practice with a baller. I need to discuss something with bhai" Vi said as Ro kept asking him to teach some techniques.

"But bhai I want to practice with you" Ro stomped on foot

"Seriously who made you this stubborn. Its Jaddu right. Ok go and play with him for a while. Promise I will practice with you after that"

Ro approached Jaddu. He didnt know why he gets happy near Jaddu bhai.

"Jaddu bhai lets practice"

"So are you ready for death balling experience now" Jaddu raised his eyes playfully

"Ok ok sorry. Lets practice "

After practicing for a hour they sat on the ground to take a rest. Ro put his head on Jaadu's shoulder

"Tired?"

Ro nodded. Jaddu patted his head for a while. Ro was near to fell sleep

"Bhai I have a question"

"What is it Ro?"

Ro looked at Jaddu and sat in front of him face to face.

"Have you ever loved someone?"

"What ?"

"Yeah. I kind of like someone. Why so sudden Ro?"

"I think I love someone too" his voice was low

"Why are you upset?"

"I don't think he will love me back"

"Is it Veer Ro?" Jaddu assumed as Ro is close to him

"I cant say who it is bhai "

"Don't worry. Your crush will love you back. I know it for sure" Jaddu gave him a smile. His rare smile

"Let me pray for you bhai. At least one of us will get the one we love " Ro said after making his mind.

"I will pray for you Ro. But don't pray for me"

"Why bhai. Don't you want to date your lover?" Ro was confused

"Even thought I may be alone in my story, you should never be alone in yours Ro. I pray for you"

"I don't understand what you said, but you should never be alone" Ro pouted.

Jaddu ruffled Ro's hair

"What are you two enemies doing here? " Vi approached them

"We are best friends now " Ro proudly told him

"Oh really?"

"Are you doubting us Veer?" Jaddu kept his hand around Ro's shoulder.

"Ok ok I get it "Vi said

"Bhai now let me practice with you" Ro said

"Come on " Vi pulled him by his hand.

Jaddu kept looking at their direction. His fear. Did It came true ?

"What were you talking with Jad. It looked like an interesting talk" Vi asked Ro

"Just some random stuff " Ro replied

"With your head on his shoulder ?" Vi smirked

"Vi bhai. "

"Mmm?"

"Who is Jaddu bhai's lover ?" Ro was curious

"What? He has none " Vi was also confused

"But he said he is loving someone"

"Oh did he ? He was never into serious relationships before. Ok tell me why do you need to know it ?" Vi asked gently.

"Its nothing.. you see.. just out of curiosity "

"Ro... lets go out today. I promise I will help you to figure out your feelings" Vi patted Ro's head

On the other side Jaddu didn't feel like going out of room. He was in his room all the evening. Mahi decided to see what is wrong

"Jaddu why didn't you come to meet me. And why are you locked inside? Did something happened bacha ?"

"I lost even before the match started bhai"

"What happened Jaddu "

"I started to love someone. Guess what he is already in love. I found out it today"

"Jaddu" Vi came inside

"What are you doing here Veer?"

"I came to inform bhai. I'm going out with Ro"

"You don't need to do that anymore Cheeku" Mahi smiled

"Back to Jaddu. What on the earth happened to you"

"I'm playing the role of heart broken butterfly" Jaddu joked but hurt was visible on his face

"He already have someone to love Veer."

"Don't be upset. I'm totally ok. I a worrier after all" Jaddu winked at him

"Vi bhai, did you start a cricket match inside? Why are you taking so long to come" Ro's voice could be heard outside the door

"Go to him before he break the door Veer " Jaddu smile a bit

"You go Cheeku, I'm here with him" Mahi assured him

"Is it him...? It is Ro isn't it " Mahi asked Jad

"I cannot hide anything from you bhai. But promise me, you will never let them know about this"

" Are you ok Bacha ? " Mahi asked and that was the last stroke for Jaddu. He cried while hugging Mahi bhai.

"You know what bhai I used to take everything as a joke. This is the first time I genuinely started to love someone. What to do. It feels like the universe has started to take everything I do as a joke. Even my feelings. " Jaddu said with broken voice due to the crying

"Why did you accept the defeat even before the match started kiddo. You should try at least. You know? "

"But bhai "

"No buts. Think this as a test of the universe. You will never fail twice in a same life kiddo. It is the law of universe. In a race there are many players Jaddu but your strength will make you win. Vi took Ro out for an ice-cream treat.

"Why you all take me to ice-cream treats. Even Mahi bhai ordered Ice-cream the other night " Ro pouted.

"Because you are a sugar rush kid. You have that kind of energy. Spending few minutes with you worn out anyone. Even we need sugar after that. See I'm low sugared now " Vi complained

Vi ordered Ice-cream for them. An extra scope for Ro too.

"Ro I took you out to tell you something important. "

"Next week we are having a tri-match series "

"I asked the management to add you to the squad. Not for the playing eleven but who knows there may be a chance."
