The news was playing, and a woman stepped out of her house, putting a helmet on...
She rode her bike, and a worker stepped out of his truck on the phone.
Man: "Baby, how many times do we have to go over this? That's why they call them microquakes. They're small."
The woman was riding up a hill when she felt it shake.
She looked behind her, seeing a gust of water.
Woman: "Hey, Siri. Call 9-1-1!"
Linda: "911. What's your emergency?"
Janell: "The dam at the Hollywood Reservoir. It's coming apart!"
She began cycling faster.
Janell: "The damn dam is coming down!"
Linda: "Where is your location right now, ma'am?"
Janell: "Oh, God! I'm not gonna make it! I'm not gonna..."
Janell screamed, becoming surrounded by water.

*Two hours before dam break...*
Maddie was at home on a video call to Chimney...
Maddie: "You know what I miss? I miss caffeine. I mean, we're sleeping great. The morning sickness is gone. We're in the sweet spot. I really need my cup of joe in the morning."
Chimney: "Yeah, well, that's no longer part of your complete breakfast."
"Peppermint tea. Delicious." Ashleigh muttered, setting the cup in front of Maddie.
Maddie: "You are not drinking peppermint tea. Ash, that is coffee. I can smell it and give it."
Ashleigh moved the cup away from Maddie.
Chimney: "Don't do it, Ash! Don't you do it!"
"I'll make you coffee." Said Ashleigh.
Chimney: "Maddie..."
Maddie: "The doctor said one cup a day."
Chimney: "Yeah, well, she's a doctor. Not the parent."
Buck: "I think you mean the hyper-parent."
Chimney: "Go stick your face on your own FaceTime to your girlfriend."
Buck: "Who I'm missing terribly, by the way."
Ashleigh: "Yeah, me too, Buckaroo. I miss you like crazy. It's only Chim that's going into World War Z. I mean, Eddie and Hen went back to their kids months ago."
Ashleigh: "Yeah, while I'm here, when really I wanna be making my own babies."
Maddie: "La. La. La. La."
Chimney: "Ashleigh, why don't you go talk to that guy you spend hours talking to?"
Buck: "What guy?"
Ashleigh: "It's not like that, Buck. Chim, shut up; you don't know anything! Whatever I'm gonna shower, the shift starts in an hour. See you at work, Buckaroo."
Maddie: "Ashleigh's right, Chim... maybe Ashleigh and Buck wanna start a family... and they can't because they're living in separate houses."
Chimney: "I know I feel terrible. Buck misses her terribly. Global pandemic. We need to be safe."
"Maddie, don't worry, Howie will be home soon! You need the toilet?" Asked Ashleigh.
"I'm good, Ash!" Maddie shouted.
Ashleigh wrapped a towel around her body, stepping out of the bathroom and staring at her uniform on the bed...
Ashleigh grabbed the top, staring at it and holding it between her hands. Ashleigh began getting flashes of Jeffery attacking her.
Ashleigh's eyes clenched shut, and Ashleigh's head snapped in different directions. Someone knocked on the wall, turning to see Buck.
"Hey..." Ashleigh whispered.
"Hey, are you okay?" Buck asked, staring down at Ashleigh's clenched hand.
Ashleigh's eyes looked down at her own hand, releasing the hold slightly and nodding her head.
"You still have the flashbacks, huh?" Buck asked.
"Have a great first day back, Ashleigh. I'm going for a nap." Maddie tells Ashleigh.
"Thank you, Mads. It's not a big deal, Buck." Ashleigh murmured.
"First day. Still feels a little sudden." Buck says.
"Sudden? It's not like I haven't been cooped up in here for six months." Ashleigh said.
"I heard it was going good." Buck says.
"I miss you." Ashleigh murmured, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Besides, I'm ready to go back to work, Buck. Something tells me you told Bobby to put me on light duty, didn't you?"
"I was gonna... but something told me you would be pissed at me, so I didn't." Said Buck.
"I hope you haven't been talking behind my back with them. I mean, I didn't tell Eddie I was here because I simply didn't want to see anyone, but somehow he knew I was here. For three months, I've had people constantly around me..." Ashleigh mumbled.
"We're just worried about you." Buck tells Ashleigh.
"Well, I don't want anyone to worry about me. I'm okay. I don't know how many times I can say it for anyone to actually believe me. I'm ready to go back." Said Ashleigh.
"How do you know that?" Buck asked.
"Because I know myself, Buck." Ashleigh says.
"Look, maybe you should talk to the therapist..." Buck said.
"Buck, Buck, it's all right. I promise, I'll be all right." Ashleigh said.
"Hurry up and get dressed; I'll wait in the car." Buck muttered, kissing Ashleigh's cheek and walking down the stairs.
Ashleigh walked over to the window, looking out of it briefly and closing the curtains.
Across town, a woman named Ashley exited the elevator with a guy...
