Bringing hope and light in the pitch darkness
Typically accompanied by it friends that twinkle
in the night
Bringing comfort to those who are lost
Bringing hope to those who are hopeless
Seeing a future
Seeing a path
Even though it was not clear
Even though it is not as brightly lit
Is as important as the sun
Difference in purpose
Never one without the other
Opposites bringing change
The moon brings memories of staying up past
your bedtime
Waking up due to nightmares but having light to
guide you to your parents room
Late night shopping
Late movie night
The one certainly was the moon
Being there for you when there is no one
When there is not a soul up
The moon brought light to you
To your memories of the night
