Detroit, Michigan 2000

Blood curdling screams echoed through the secluded basement as a random man was tied up to a wooden chair. Blood profusely dripped to the floor from the open wounds scattered across his body.

His screams grew louder as he felt the blade carve into the socket of his eye.

"Please!" he begged. "Please stop! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

The squelching noise of his eye being pulled caused him agonizing pain as his screamed louder while the blood trickled down his face.

From behind, a voice spoke out. "That's enough, Executioner."

All movements stopped as the blade was removed from the man's eye. Stepping away, the light above shined bright on the face of a 18 year old Angelise. Specks of blood covered her young, beautiful face as she looked down at her victim.

Footsteps approached and a hand placed itself softly on the back of her head. Leaning down, the voice whispered in her ear. "Well done, my pet."

Pulling away, the figure walked under the light and Ace's face was revealed. Approaching the stranger, Ace crouched down as he rubbed his thumb across his bottom lip.

"Now John," he taunted. "You ready to tell me where the shipment went?"

The man sputtered while trying to catch his breath. "I... I... I don't know, it wasn't there when we went to retrieve it."

Ace let out a tsk. "John, John, I thought we said no more lying, maybe a little more time with the phantom will change your mind."

Hearing those words, the man's breath hitched in his throat as he watched Angelise make her way toward him again from his good eye. Her vibrant green eyes stood lifeless as she approached her victim.

The man had begun to shake in his seat from fear. Seeing the blade in her hand, he grew frantic. "Okay, I'll talk! I'll talk, I'll talk!"

A smirk formed on Ace's lips as he held his hand up to stop Angelise from moving further. Immediately, the man began to confess how he and a few others had stolen a few of the new products to try and sell them for profit.

Ace let out a feigned sigh of gratitude as he stood up. Looking down, he placed his hand on the man's shoulder. "Thank you John, for showing true courage and humility..... in your last moments."

Subtly, he gestured to Angelise, who quickly pulled a handgun from behind her waistband, and aimed the gun at the man while he screamed in realization.

"Wait! No, plea—"

A loud pop bounced off the walls before the body slumped over, his restraints being the only thing keeping him from falling to the ground while the blood trickled down his forehead with a gigantic hole in the middle.
