After 15 minutes Monami returned with a lady doctor.
F(alert tone) : Yeh kaun hai Monami? Aur Dr Irani ne kya kaha?
Sa: Karan sirji theek hogo na?
M: Karan toh theek hai lekin Deolali se ek doctor ko bheja gaya hai Karan ki condition check karne aur uski case ko study karne ke liye. She will be his attending doctor for time being. Dr Irani Karan ke hosh mein aane ke baad usse ek baar check karenge and then Dr Aishi will take over.
F: Kya!! Kyun? Aisa toh koi rule nahi hai.
M: Vahi toh samajh nahi aa raha Faizi. But uss doctor ke paas headquarters ka order hai aur maine call karke chief of staff se baat ki toh unhone yahi kaha ki Karan ke saath jo bhi hua uski vajah se they want one of their confident to be with him for medical assistance.
Sa: Are par je kaam tu bhi toh kar sakti hai. Phir baane dusre doctor ko kaye ke laane bhej dao?
M: It's too frustrating Sanjana. Mujhe khud kuch samajh nahi aa raha hai. Maine bhi yahi same question pucha tha toh chief of staff ki jagah uss doctor ne jawab diya ki apparently according to the protocols a doctor shouldn't be treating their family members. Isliye Karan ka case mujhe nahi usse handle karna chahiye. Uske hisab se Dr Irani, Dr Khurana aur Papa army doctors nahi hai isliye unki reports ko official and final nahi consider karna chahiye. Basically she means that she is the only one who is fit for this job.
Saying this Monami irritatedly slumped down on the couch.
F: Hum apne seniors se baat karke dekhte hain. Agar zaroorat padi toh Batra Sir se help le lenge.
M: (thinking something) Nahi Faizi rehne do. Vaise bhi voh yahan bas Karan ke case ki briefing leke Karan ka ek baar full body checkup karegi and then she will go. 2 din ka kaam hai uska as attending doctor. Bekaar mein cheezon ko complicate karna sahi nahi hoga especially since he higher authorities are involved.
Sa: Vaise naam ke hai baako?
M: Dr Aishi. Senior doctor hai Deolali army hospital mein. Abhi mahine din pehle hi join kiya hai usne.
F: Usse pehle kahan appointed thi?
M: Usse pehle ek private hospital mein kaam karti thi. Pune mein. Uske baare mein zyada kuch nahi pata mujhe. Ek do baar hi dekha hai maine usse
hospital mein. In fact aaj pehli baar baat ki maine usse. Lekin I guess kisi renowned noble family se belong karti hai ya koi connections hai uske kyunki usse special recommendations pe appoint kiya gaya hai. Hospital ke MD ne khud uska CV check kiya tha aur interview bhi liya tha. Suna toh hai ki kaafi promising aur talented doctor hai. Isliye itni jaldi senior doctor appoint hui thi.
Faizi and Sanju gave a nod.
Just then a girl in late twenties entered the room with Dr Irani who was looking quite impressed.
Dr Irani: I must say Dr Monami Dr Aishi is indeed very talented. Karan ke case mein inka second opinion lena accha hi rahega.
Monami looked at the Aishi who was sweetly smiling at her. Her face screamed innocence. Her sharp features and big black doe eyes could make anyone fall for her. But Monami, Sanju and Faizi felt something to be off about her.
M: Dr Aishi abhi Karan ko hosh nahi aaya hai. Aap tab tak uske reports check kar lijiye. Karan ke jo bhi test honge voh uske hosh mein aane ke baad hi honge. You may leave now.... I mean you may leave for now.
A: But Ma'am....
M: Was I not quite clear with the commands before? Do you want me to repeat them for you? Leave....for now. I will call you when required.
