Everyone stood saddend around Liza's body, though in truth Nick and Alicia didn't really feel any different and Cass only truly felt sad for Chris. Nick sat on the stairs Cassandra resting in between his legs as Alicia leant next to them

Cassandra held Nick's hand as it rested on her shoulder as she kept a close watch on Chris

"You all knew Liza long enough to see what kind of person she was, how devoted she was to her family. She loved to help people. She would help anyone and she did. She was selfless you know?. She just would give from her heart" Travis sighed "and she could br fierce. Oh, my god. She was so strong and...it was painful sometimes" Travis chuckled sadly

Nick casted a glance down at Cassandra,
Who he noticed was focused on Chris which made him think she was the type of person who put others above herself. Always.

"And the best thing that we ever did together was our son...."

And with that it caused a reaction from Chris and subconsciously Cassandra squeezed Nick's hand but he didn't notice as he was lost in his own thoughts

"Who she loved more then anything or anyone."

Everyone watched a cheis approached his mother, Everyone expected him to mourn. To cry, to break down. No one expected what he did before Cassandra could even blink he had thrown his mother in the ocean. Everyone turned towards him in shock.

Cassandra froze as she stood there in shock watching as Chris walked away and Travis followed him. Steam practically coming out of his ears from how mad he was

After the moment of shock, Cassandra sat cuddled into Nick's side as she spoke to Ofelia beside them aware of Travis and Daniel behind them but not sure really what they were doing. Nick played with her hair absently as he rested his head on the back of the sofa

"Travis. Travis, someone needs help" Alicia announced as her boots stomped across the floor as she ran up the stairs

"They're sinking"

"Who?" Travis asked sitting down, the loudness of Alicia's voice brought Strand and Madison towards them

Cassandra lifted her head off of Nick's shoulder as she turned her attention towards Alicia

"Look, it's just him, his brother and his sister-in-law. Just three. We can mange that."

"What's this?" Madison asked

"Jack. His names Jack" Alicia told her mother

"Who the hell is Jack?" Strand asked making his presence known

"Shit" Cassandra cursed under her breath. She was quick to notice that Strand was out for his own. Helping others was way off his to do list. He uses people to his advantage and from the sounds of it those people would not be any help

"You gonna make me ask twice" he spoke in a louder tone as he approached everyone

Nick sat up a look directed at Strand but his grip around Cass got tighter

"He's on a fishing boat near here and he's sinking."

"You talked to him"

"Yes, I talked to him" Alicia replied

"Did you tell him anything about us?" He asked and he had a point Cassandra realised, they could be anyone. They could be a threat but Alicia is just a kid

"I---no, I didn't tell him anything important" she looked towards her mom for help but Madison didn't

"What didn't you say Alicia? What didn't you tell him about us?" Strand raised his voice, Cassandra winced a little before getting out of Nicks grip and standing beside Alicia resting her hand on her shoulder as she looked at Strand with a protective look
