• In 2018, Jenna Collins explained in an interview that she would like to have a solo film for Vague, for learning character's past and learning more about her.

• On March 26, 2019, it was announced by Marvel Studios that a solo film for Vague might be coming.

• On August 8, 2019, it was announced that a solo film will be released, called "Vague".

• In October 13, 2019, it was rumored that the film was coming, but that the lead role (Aisha Belcher) would be played by another actress. But later, it was quickly revealed by Jenna Collins herself that this was a lie. Collins announced that she would still continue the role until the end.

• On December 13, 2019, it is announced that directors for the film will be Jennifer Clarkson and Emily Grant.

• On December 20, 2019, film's It was announced who will be the cinematographer, director and screenwriter.

• On December 28, 2019, (in the birthday of Aisha Belcher character), The film's cast were announced at D23 Expo. The film would bring back Jenna Collins as Aisha Belcher/Vague.
