Chapter 12 Lagey raho

Naina : thik hai.....jao par 5 minute me wapas aa jana.class miss nahi honi chahiye....waise aajkal kuch jyada library nahi jane lagi ho tum ?

Ananya gave some excuse and fled from there.Naina was not a fool to not understand such tantrums and excuses of teenagers.she sighed and moved towards Principals cabin since Principal sir had asked her to meet him after her class.

She saught permission from him and sat infront of him.

Principal lochan sir : Naina , maine tumhe yahan kisi khas kaam se bulaya hai...Tumhe toh pata hai ki humara school 50 saal pura kar raha hai.

Naina : Ji sir , aur ye mere liye bahut garv ki baat hai ki maine isi school se padhayi ki aur ek Teacher ke roop me main is Golden jubilee ka hissa banungi.

Lochan sir smiled : Isiliye main chahta hun ki golden jubilee year ki zimmedari tum nibhao. Tumhare sath ek team hogi jisme aur bhi Teachers honge par tum us team ko lead karogi.

Naina : Sir ye toh bahut badi zimmedari hai ,par mere liye garv ki baat hai ki aapne mujhpe itna bharosa dikhaya.

Lochan sir smiled : Tum ek list taiyar kar lo jisme alag alag events ki jankari hogi , jaise play, musical competitions ,debate dance wagera wagera jo ant me ek golden jubilee function pe khatm hogi.

Naina : ji sir....par uske liye toh alag se fund ki zarurat hogi.

Lochan : Tum uski chinta mat karo.pichle 2 saal se uske liye fund jama ho raha hai. Kuch sponsorship bhi mil jayegi. Waise main tumhe kisi se milwaunga jo insab me tumhari help karega. I am sure wo na sirf sponsorship dilwa dega balki khud bhi interested hai. Meri kal hi baat huyi thi ,abhi aata hi hoga.

Naina wondered who that person might be ,but before she could think of anybody she heard the voice that brought solace to her and at the same time revived her pain.

Sameer entered wishing Lochan Sir with a bright smile on his face ,looking extra smart in white shirt and black jeans with a sunglass that could make any girl drool over him. Naina jerked and turned at the familiar voice and couldnt take her eyes off him.Sameer took looked at her and gave a smirk.

Lochan sir : aao Sameer bhaitho ....Naina , maine Sameer se kal sponsership ke liye baat ki thi.wo hume sponsor karne ke liye taiyar hai aur sath hi kuch aur sponsor bhi dilwa dega. Wo khud bhi in sarey events me personal interest le raha hai.

Sameer : Sir aap toh yun hi keh rahe hai. Afterall ye mere liye bhi personal khushi hogi.

Naina looked at him worried if he would spill something personal.

Sameer smirked : kya hua Naina ,tum pareshan kyun ho gayi. Dont worry. Main har cheez me pura support karunga wo bhi personal interest ke sath. Afterall ye mera bhi toh school hai.

Lochan sir : Very Good Sameer. Garv hota hai tum jaise students ko dekh ke. Naina tum aisa karo , Sameer ke sath bhaith ke is barey me discuss kar lo. Aur school me ghum ke events ke location bhi discuss kar lo. Phir kal subah tak mujhe iski report bana ke de dena. Humare paas bas jyada waqt nahi hai aur kaam bahut hai.Alag alag chote Events toh garmi chutti ke baad hi suru ho jayenge.

Sameer gave a bright smile to him and looking at Naina smirked : sahi kaha aapne sir....chale Naina..Hume bahut kuch discuss bhi karna hai.

All through the meeting Naina kept on wondering about Sameer's sudden apperance and could only stare and nod at Lochan Sir's statement.

As they came out on the verandah Naina glared at him.

Sameer frowned : kya hua ? Aise muh kyun bana rai ho. Humare school ka golden jubilee hai , khush ho jao.

Naina (angrily) : mere schòol ka hai , tum isme kya kar rahe ho.

Sameer : O hello , Naina Devi ye mera bhi School hai ....abhi suna nahi Lochan sir ne kya kaha ? Hume mil ke kaam karna hai.

Naina : koi zarurat nahi hai ,main kar lungi. Aur tumhe sir sponsership ke liye kaha hai Sir ne. Mere piche piche ghumne nahi kaha hai sir ne

Sameer smirked : Toh thik hai ,sir ko ja ke bol do ki Tum mere sath kaam nahi karna chahti ho , ya phir main hi bol deta hun. Par dosh mujhe mat dena. Main ready hun.

Naina ( shockingly ) : kis baat ke liye ?

Sameer bent closer to her and teased : tum kis baat ke liye razi karwana chahti ho ? Waise tumhe jyada mehnat nahi karni padegi....Main ready hun....

Naina looked at him with a question and Sameer controlled.

Sameer : I mean tumhari help karne ke liye , sponsors ke liye. Abhi abhi sir ne kaha na ....waise main sir ko bol dun kya ki tum manaa kar rahi ho.

Naina took a deep breath and helplessly said : uski zarurat nahi hai. Chalo venue aur events ke barey me batati hun. Maine pehle se hi kuch plan kiya hua tha.

They moved to the hall where they discussed about various events that would start after summer vacation since it was approaching and would end in a cultural event after rainy season.

Naina : Baki sarey competitions toh isi hall me honge par cultural event ke liye alag se arrange karna hoga. Sarey log isme nahi fit honge. Sarey baccho ke parents bhi honge na.

Sameer : tum uski chinta mat karo , ground me temporary stage aur shamiyana lagwa ke event ho jayega. Maine ek aur sponsor se baat ki hai. Wo ready hai.

Naina looked at him : Tumhe achanak insab me itna interest kyun ho raha hai ? Kyun yahan apna time waste kar rahe ho ?

Sameer : waste kahan kar raha hun ,invest kar raha hun...ek life long profit ke liye.

Naina (sarcastically ) : Haan ,tumhare liye toh sabkuch ek buisness ,aur profit loss hi hai. Waise jaan sakti hun ki tumhara kya faida hai.

Sameer smirked : Tum mujhse judi huyi koi bhi baat jaan sakti ho. Mera ghar ,mera office ,Nanu Main , Mere bacche....kuch bhi.

The word bacche jerked Naina and she looked at him shockingly with open mouth . Sameer noticed her reaction and smiled teasing her.

Sameer : Dont worry abhi nahi hai , par jaldi hi wo bhi honge.

Naina couldnt believe that this man who had been a reason for all the mess in her life was flirting with him. She glared at him.

Naina : ye school hai , Tumhari mumbai nahi...thodi toh sharm rakho.

Sameer chukled : Sharm toh maine tab bhi nahi kiya tha jab tumhare papa isi school me librarian the aur main yahan ka student. Unki naak ke niche hi unki beti se pyar kiya tha aur...

Naina inteeuppted : aur us baat ki sazaa mujhe mili.

Sameer felt a jibe in his heart.but he didnt give up.

Sameer : Naina kab tak naaraz rahogi....sazaa deni hai toh de do na. Par ab toh gussa khatm karo na.

Naina didnt answer and moved towards the ground to plan for final event and Sameer followed her.
