I was awoken reluctantly in the morning by Aunt Meredith. "Come on, Natalia. Time to go to school." I dragged myself to my bathroom. I didn't want to go there but I wouldn't go there as a clown. So I pulled my most favorite blouse. It was dark blue with lace borders. It suited me well. I was looking forward to high school, even though I didn't have a plan of going there. I walked downstairs where Aunt Meredith was already making breakfast. "Aunt Meredith," I started,"I don't have any books for school." She smiled and pointed towards a black bag. I searched inside the bag. There were all my books and all my stationery in it. "Thank you,"I said, giving Aunt a hug. I didn't eat much, because of nerves. I headed towards my school, which a close so I could walk the way. I reached the Amber High School. It was a really a beautiful building with made with red bricks. I loved it. It was surprising, how I had hated even the thought of a high school. I walked though a polished gate. I felt alienated. Almost all girls here wore skirts and dresses. I felt different and awkward. I went safely though my class which I delightfully found by a map and a schedule in my bag. I going to my next class-mathematics, when someone tapped my shoulder. It was a cute, about my age and tall. He had caramel hair and blue eyes. My aunt had managed to find one English school and everyone was filled with French. I could only hear French in the school, though the medium of teaching was English. "Hi,"I said, hoping he would answer in English. "Hi,"he replied and I felt a surge of relief. "You're new here, right?",he asked. "Yes",I replied, smiling. "Have a good day,"he said and walked away.
