Meet Clara

Clay has been going through a lot on his mind ever since he found out that Branch has been turned into a merman but he has been distracting himself with his work 

Sky Toronto: Clay I have something to do 

Clay: yes Mr. Toronto 

Then a girl who looks similar to Clay arrives 

Sky Toronto: Clay this is Clara she is working here and I need you to show her the ropes 

Clay: ok 

Sky Toronto then leaves to go chastise a employee who was sleeping on the job 

Clay: hi Clara I'm Clay and I hope you enjoy working here 

Clara: thanks Clay and what is that you are reading 

Clay: oh it's a book about a man who has his beliefs questioned when he discovers the existence of aliens 

Clara: that sounds interesting 

Clay: thanks though I'm still on chapter three and I have fourteen more chapters to go 

Clara: you should start a book club 

Clay: I actually used to be a member of a book club back in high school but it was just me, my friend Cyal and three others

Clara: oh me two or at least when I transferred schools my senior year 

Clay: wait did we go to the same school 

Clara: no unless you graduated from Coastal High 

Clay: oh I guess not I went to Northshore High just like my older brothers 

Clara: how many brothers do you have 

Clay: I have two older brothers and two younger brothers 

Clara: what a coincidence I have two older sisters and two younger sisters 

Clay: yeah it had actually became a joke for me and my friends that out of all five of us three of us are the middle child of five 

Clara: I would love to meet your friends 

Clay: alright I will tell them to meet at the library 

Clara: sounds like a plan I will let Vito know 😄

Clay: who's Vito 

Clara: he's my boyfriend we have been dating for two years and his parents and younger brother has recently moved here 

Clay: that's nice how old is his brother 

Clara: he is 15 years old and he is in tenth grade 

Clay: hey actually my youngest brother and three of my friends also have younger sisters around his age 

Then the two continue to talk some more and got some work done 

That night at the library 

Clay: hey everyone this is my new friend Clara and Clara these are my friends Viva, Cyal, Coral and Claire 

Clara: I think I might have known Claire before 

Clay: really where 

Clara: we went to school together before I left home 

Claire: how have you been 

Clara: I have been doing good 

Viva: hey everyone let's go have some fun together 

Clay: sure let's go to the roller rink together Viva *blushes*

At the roller rink 

Clara: you like Viva don't you 

Clay: am I really that obvious about how I feel 😐

Clara: yes how come you don't tell her 

Clay: I want to but I'm afraid I won't be her type and I am also scared of it ending my friendship with her especially since she was the first friend I made 

Clara: I think you should try you never know if you don't try 

Cyal: yeah and we will be there for you 

Claire didn't know why but she wasn't feeling upset about the possibility of Clay ending up with another girl 

Claire: Clay do it to get Viva before someone else does 

Then Clay summons all of his courage and strength and heads to where Viva is 

Viva: hey Clay is something going on 

Clay: Viva I have been meaning to tell you this but I really like you and I have been since high school and I understand if you want us to be only friends 

Viva: Clay of course I want to be with you, you are one of the most smartest and most amazing guy I know and I love you very much and I want us to take the next step in our relationship 

And with that Clay and Viva shared their first kiss and are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend to the joy of everyone and all six friends danced the night away
