Objects in Orbit Episode 1: Unfriendly Randomization

"Hey Patricia!"
"Oh, hey there Kyle! Hopping onto the elevator to?"
"Yeah. Did you text the others?"
"I texted Sam, Sarah, Camilla, Kesha-"
"You know Sam doesn't like to be around Kesha, Pat."
"Oh sorry! I forgot!"
"Well, too late now. The elevators here."
"Hurry in!"

*As the elevator ascends up very high, a television made by the Starsong company plays a video to the 17 objects here. They are a Plug, Chocolate Bar, Sketchbook, Sweet Heart, Will-o-Wisp, Cat-Bell, Dime, DS Stylus, Cakepop, Sparkler, Gachapon Capsule, Lotus flower, Cupcake, Flan, Glass of Lemonade, Blueberry Mochi ball, and a roll of Maki.*
"Welcome to the Starsong Galaxial Hotel! This is the larger of the two hotels, the other being the slightly shorter, yet cozy Hiatus Hotel. If you are here because you recieved a letter, or saw the announcement in the news, it is because you have been selected to join the Starsong Helper program. It's a long ways up to the hotel, but you'll find the view to be worth it. Welcome, my Objects in Orbit, to your life and show!"
Patricia: "Show?"
???: "I didn't even know there was another hotel!"
Kesha: "I've been there before. Nice place, weird people."
Camilla: "They are weird, but they were awfully nice to us the first time we went."
Kesha: "That was the only time we went, Cam. My dad isn't exactly made of money."
???: "Yeah, my dad isn't either, but I am glad you two brought me along that time!"
Camilla: "Come to think of it, you did know that Ben fellow..."
???: "Ben's my cousin! That's why I had to go meet up with him and his buds!"
Kesha: "Why does Desmond always hurt my brain..."
Camilla: "It's not that bad..."
???: "Man! This'll be great!"
???: "I know, right? Maybe she'll tell us more about the challenges!"
???: "We aren't even there yet! Let's just focus on getting to know each other."
Sarah: "Good idea!"
???: "Won't she introduce us anyways?"
???: "Don't know, don't care."
???: "Ooh! We're almost at the top!"

*The 17 contestants reach the top, with the windows opening to show a beautiful sight. This whole large area full of grass, hills, trees, and 3 houses was all enclosed inside the area! The only thing keeping them from going into the vastness that is space is the large glass dome. It at least allows for everyone to get a good view of space. A pink music note is there waiting for them at the elevator.*
???: "Right this way, if you don't mind."
*Everyone follows the music note, to where there are 17 seats nearby a large and nicely built stage.*
Patricia: "Wow! That lady wasn't kidding when she said this was beautiful."
???: "Sit down please. Our director will be here in about 5 minutes."

*Everyone sits down in their seats. They all chat amongst themselves for a few minutes until they hear something on the stage. It sounds like an elevator. It finishes rising, revealing the director.. Star Lamp. There's also a microphone stand near her.*
Star Lamp: *she clears her throat* "Welcome everyone to Objects in Orbit!" *she turns on a light, and a huge neon sign that says "Objects in Orbit" lights up* "Each of you will be competiting for an important job that I have for you at Starsong. Only 1 of you can get this job, should you all accept."
*Everyone just stares up at Star Lamp in confusion. A purple robot with two floating orbs approaches Star Lamp from backstage.*
Dividy: "Boss, they aren't going to listen if you don't tell them what the job is."
Star Lamp: "Uh..." *she smiles* "The job is a secret, that's why I can't tell anyone!" *she looks nervous but still smiles* "A-Anyways! We need to set up challenge 1. In the meantime, I'll introduce everyone on this screen!" *a tv screen comes down nearby Star Lamp*
"Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who has arrived. Second off, let's get the introductions rolling!" *the screen starts showing images of the main cast* "Patricia Sparx. Kyle Coco. Samuel Sketch. Sarah Heart. Princess Camilla Styx the Eleventh. Kesha Rae. Desmond Styles. Daniel "10 Cents" Dollah. Caroline Baker. Gerald Ponn. Lotus Hanabira. Berry Mochitsuki. Jerry Kyarameru. Lianna Mayde. Mikale Korogasu. Neko No Suzu. Yakedo Hono. Melody Johnson. Those are all 18 contestants."
Melody: "Wait I didn't sign up for-"
Star Lamp: "Challenge 1 is almost done being set up! My two co-hosts, Dividy and Shardy are getting on top of that." *she nervously giggles* "Normally, we have a guest. But this is the first episode, so we kind of got to get the foundation set up first!"
*A triangle robot is next to Star Lamp, he has a button on hand.*
???: *ahem!*
Star Lamp: "Oh right! We need to set up our three teams!" *she smiles at ???* "This is Caboodle, he's my son and also a Starsong Kinder-Tablet! He will be randomizing who's on who's team!"
Kesha: "Randomly?"
Jerry: "No fair, we won't be on our friends team!"
Desmond: "Yeah!"
Caboodle: "Sorry, it's what we choose to do!"
Star Lamp: "No hard feelings to any friendships that are forced to the side by the competition."
