A blaring alarm plus my brother Rowan throwing a basketball at me is how this morning is starting. I flinched awake from a deep sleep grabbing the ball.
"That is not how you wake someone! You fucking bitch!" I yelled at him as chucked the ball at him. He ducks laughing his head off as the ball grazes his head.
"Well Enzo dad said to wake you so I did" he shrug straighten himself up then added "Mom made our favorite and said if your not ready in 10 minutes she's coming up here with her chanclas"
"Yeah, yeah I get it now scram" I said stretching my arms above my head as the tapping of nails on wood sound in the hallway. Rowan moves out of the way as our 65 pound champagne colored American pitbull terrier comes running in jumping on my bed stepping on me.
"Nova, easy girl easy" I laughed as she wiggled and licked my face. She laid down wagging her tail as Rowan left my room closing the door.
I stand up while petting her head looking at her in a pink hoodie with her gold chain collar. I adjust the hoodie then yawn heading into my attached bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror then start running water to wash my face quickly. After finishing up in the bathroom I head into my closet throwing on black ripped jeans and a black shirt with a pitbull barking on it.
"Nova apagada, vámonos" I said heading to my door after grabbing my piercings, putting them back in. She jumps off my bed quickly and runs down the hall then down the stairs with her nails clicking the whole time. I jogged down the stairs following my happy girl into the kitchen.
"Mmmm smells good" I said smiling kissing my mom on the cheek before head to the table.
"You suck up, you were 2 minutes away from me coming up there" she said plating, everyone's food. I have no doubt in my mind she would have came to get me with her favorite pair of chanclas. We all started eating and mom gave Nova a bowl of eggs and kibble. Nova sits wait while looking at me.
"sigue comiendo" I said between bites and she start chowing down. She loves everyone but only listens to me.
I head up stairs to get my keys and bag for school, Senior year. Last damn year in that hell whole even tho I'm hardly there. I grab my gun putting it in my waist band then grab my black bandanna wrapping it around my wrist and tying it.
Heading back down stairs then going into the garage seeing Lily and Rowan waiting next to my black dodge charger. Quickly unlocking it Lily hops in the backseat and Rowan in the front. Getting in we head to Lily's middle school first drop her off then head to our high school. Now that my sister is out of the car I hear Rowan seatbelt click then hit the gas. I won't drive reckless if Lily is in the car but it's open season if she not.
"Your driving takes such a 180 once she leaves" Rowan laughed as he texting someone.
"Makes life more fun. Plus dad would kill me if she got hurt because I was doing something stupid around her" I said putting shades on as the sun starts shining in my eyes.
"So is the King ready for his last year" he said without looking up from his phone.
"Yeah I'm ready to be done with it. I'd rather be helping dad out full time anyway with all the shit that's be happening" I said drifting into the parking lot and pulling into my spot in the back. Seeing our men leaning on their cars waiting for us.
"Yeah are rivals have been acting up lately" he said as I turned off the car then getting out. A black girl with light purple hair with light blue stripes walks over from a black Chevy Silverado with a white haired white boy following they both hug Rowan. I don't see my brother smile more than when he's with them. Our men and I are pretty sure he's dating both of them just hasn't confirmed it yet, but it's not my place to meddle.
"Morning Jazzy and Drew" I said locking the car then walking past them with the others. We head through the gates together as the bell rings for us to head to class.
Throughout the day I hear about a new girl to the school that is a Russian. I haven't seen her yet as I walk through the halls heading to the cafeteria bumping into and knocking over this white brunette.
"Смотри, куда идешь! сука" she said glaring at me for a second. I bend down offering it to her. She takes it then I pull her up.
"Sorry I don't speak Russian. But you probably shouldn't call me a bitch" I chuckle then pick up the book she dropped handing it to her.
"You don't speak Russian but you know I called you a bitch" she chuckle then adds "Sorry just a bit frustrated. I lost the girl that was giving me a tour. Um she was this black girl with purple hair. Didn't think I'd lose her but I did" she said a little annoyed.
"Oh Jazzy I can take you to her. If you lost her, she's most likely back with my brother and Drew. Follow me" I said starting to walk away. Takes a second but I do hear her foot steps start to follow me.
Once she's next to me I asked "so you must be the new girl everyone has been talking about? I'm Enzo by the way"
"I'm Ykaterina but just call me Kiki. I just moved here over the summer" she said while looking around. We walk up to my friends and men with Rowan sitting at the table with Jazzy sandwiched between him and Drew. She jumps up once spotting Kiki.
"Awesome Enzo you found her" she smiles walking over the adds looking at Kiki, "I'm so sorry I lost you why don't we eat first then we can continue the tour"
Kiki nodded then followed Jazz over to Rowan sitting with her. I didn't pay attention to what they said but the chatted for a while. After the first eating the girls went with Rowan and Drew following them.
I wonder if I'll see more of that girl.
