TODAY WAS OCTOBER 20th, 10 days till Halloween, Claudette's second favourite holiday after christmas. Every night 10 day's following up to halloween the women in the Graves household would watch a halloween movie or episode, and throughout October Claudette and Adelaide would rewatch murder house gushing over Tate and Violet, sometimes they would even skip to that one episode in Apocalypse just to see them get back together.
The two girls yearned for that type of love from a boy.
Claudette put on her Navy and dark green grandpa sweater as the weather was getting colder. She ran downstairs to help her mom and sister with the halloween decorations.
On the counter laid a pile of inside decorations including fall leaves,dim lights, candles, pumpkins, fake skeletons and more peeping out through the pile. "you ready girls, hit the Halloween tunes" Tanya said looking at her daughters. The voice of Amy Winehouse played through the house, they all sang along as they hung up lights around the open living room.
Claude was the top of the stairs helping her sister wrap the Orange fake leaves around the banister of the stairs "Adelaide twist them the other way!" "no you're twisting it the wrong way!" The sisters had been arguing about it for the last 10 minutes not being able to meet in the middle and agree on the same thing, Tanya had let it go ages ago and had moved on to bringing out her special fall mugs and coasters
After a few hours the inside of the house was finally complete.
The living room now had dark orange and red pillows with matching woolly blankets on the side. The flower scented candles now swapped out with cinnamon and pine wood, dim fairy lights hung around the wooden beam that went straight through the kitchen and living room.
The kitchen island had a few pumpkins in the middle as the show cabinet now displayed autumnal decorated mugs and plates with fairy lights around them.
It was now time to tackle the outside which was the best part, Carving pumpkins though they were leaving that for a couple days as they would end up rotting.
Claudette was stood up on a ladder shouting down to her sister "can you pass me the end of the light and DO NOT dare think about shaking this ladder!"
The house was now fully decorated inside and out and the three sat down to watch a movie, "Claudie your boyfriend is calling you" "he's not my boyfriend"

Claudette answered,walker taking over her screen with a big smile "hi!" he said into the phone "hi! i'm downstairs w mom and addie they say hi" "hi guys!" "you okay whyd u call" "i'm bored" "well what have u done today" "umm nothing really i mean i chased Tanner round the house with a shoe!what about you?" "oh! how fun.. we uh decorated the house for halloween and fall even tho it's nearly over, sadly." "ooo show me!"
So that's what she did, Claude stood up showing every little detail from the living room to upstairs to outside, yes. she went outside in the cold to show him even though he lived two streets over
"that looks amazing!" "i know" Walker rolled his eyes, they made plans to meet at the cafe then hung up
"you two are so cute you have to like him there's no way you don't" Adelaide said as Claudette sat at her vanity "i dont know" "sure"
