The earth trembles beneath Lucifer's tattered feet as he walks through the inferno. The fire nips at his flesh, making it crack and bleed, but it hurts him no longer. After eons of this, the heat and the flames of Hell, he has developed a pain tolerance. In Hell, there had been no one there to save him from the nothing he had become, no one. He had to learn on his own how to shut off all feelings and become one with the fire that once tortured him. Hundreds of years he spent screaming and bleeding for a father who still would not hear him. Lucifer had suffered as any of his damned souls suffered and would suffer. He watches them now as he continues towards the very pit of his home. He walks by them, his wings tearing at their rotting flesh as if they are no more than worms in the dirt. He ignores their agonizing cries for mercy and peace. No one cared about his agony or showed him mercy or pity so that he would show these inferior creatures the same hospitality bestowed upon him.

"My Lord." The sound of Lilith's seductive voice brings Lucifer out of his moment of thought. He looks up at her, and his eyes flash from blood red to a deep gold- all rage forgotten. Lilith clearly knew he was arriving because of her lack of clothing, which proves that. Normally, her sneakiness or attempt to seduce him would annoy him greatly, but not tonight, not at this moment. Tonight, his pain and disappointment in his chosen mate were still too raw. He wants a distraction from the wounds that would not heal. The pain is far too real, and he wants it to end now. His eyes wash over Lilith's entire being. First, her long dark hair that hung in waves from her scalp to the soles of her bare dainty feet, slowly back up her long flawless legs and perfectly proportioned hips, to her small waist and firmly perky breasts in which her fully erect honey-colored nipples cry out for his caress.

"Come here!" Lucifer roars in a command. His eyes lock with Lilith's, fueling the fire between them. He smiles wolfishly as she obeys him as any slave would obey its master. He rejoices in the sound of the bells around her ankles and waist as she walks slowly into his dark embrace. The sound, a constant reminder that she could never escape him, always pleased Lucifer.

"What can I do to please you, my Lord?" Lilith taunts her fingers, sliding across Lucifer's broad chest, past his stomach, and between his thighs to caress the hardened length of his massive erection. Her eyes light with pleasure at his intake of breath, followed by his fierce growl, which shakes the entirety of their home.

Lucifer's anger cooling, his eyes again washing over Lilith as she now, having used her powers to melt her nearly nonexistent clothing away, stands completely nude before him. From her waist up, she is as always flawless. Her lower body is scaled like a serpent. She smiles devilishly at him, proud that he has shown her a weak moment. Usually, her pride would send him into a dangerous rage that would end up in her being severely punished. He was too tired to care then, so he allowed her to gloat for once. One good thing is that her sly looks remind him that he truly is not interested in sharing his bed with her. Only Aelia would be enough to feed the hunger that grew intensely inside him.

"Never mind Lilith. You are dismissed. I cannot linger long." Lucifer tells Lilith with a smirk of his own.

"Why can you not linger? Are you returning to earth already, my liege?" Lilith asks, practically purring as her eyes split like a cat in her jealousy of Aelia.

"Yes. I will return whenever, and however many times it takes for me to have Aelia. I want her by my side, and I don't care what rules I must break or how many humans I must crush beneath my feet to make it happen. Gabriel knows I am on earth, and he has tried to stop me by entering Aelia's dreams and warning her of me. I think God, too, knows by now, as I am sure my brother has run to him and told him all about it." Lucifer replies in distaste for even mentioning the name of his estranged father as he points toward the heavens. Knowing he was earthbound, it annoys him greatly to find Lilith now trembling at the mention of Gabriel and God. Suddenly, her presence becomes very unwanted, and he lashes out at her like any enemy before he can again regain her. His strong hand snakes out to grasp her throat.

Lilith's failed attempt to wrestle free from Lucifer choking her only further enrages him. He finds himself wanting desperately to rip her to shreds as he had that pathetic human friend of Aelia's. Aelia, the very thought of her, makes him release Lilith abruptly.

"Get out of my sight." He roars as she regains her senses along with her breath. He becomes relieved when she stumbles from his reach, making her exit as he commands.

Lucifer slides his hands through his long golden mass of hair, trying to get a grip. He was the very breath of the shadows, king of death and sorrow, not some weak, mindless creature. He closes his eyes tight, fighting the single crimson tear that threatens to spill from his eye. From the shadows, he would attack, use his mind connection to Aelia to stop her from doubting herself, and Tristen opened herself up to him and be honest about everything. Taking on the form of a thick mist, Lucifer makes his way back through the inferno, heading straight to the club where he knows he will find her. His mind keeps returning to his time as God's most beloved.

Tremendous warmth engulfs the being as its lids flutter, illuminating light and burning its sensitive, freshly made eyes. A trembling, unsure being, it tries to stand.

"Stand my first created and meet your teacher and father." A soothing yet authoritative voice encouraged the being. The voice seems to seep into its entire being as it finds a hidden strength and power nearly too much to withstand.

The being stands fast and perfectly as if it has stood on its legs for eons. A burning yet soothing feeling rushes across its back and shoulders as white-golden tipped wings sprout from its flesh. Its eyes no longer burn as they look to its creator. Eyes that seem to see and know all as they meet with it. A face that is very soothing yet stern- lightened by the wide smile beaming at the being. Like itself but not- no wings sprouting from firm shoulders, just a halo of pure light hovering all around.

"Yes. I am your creator-father, you may call me," the creator confirms as if he has read his creation's very thoughts. Uncertain how or why it already knows this.

"You shall be named Samael, first of my angelic race of children. I shall give you power and light equal to my own and share my creations and wonders with you. It was nothing but darkness ruled by carnage and evil until I came and shouted let there be light. The monstrosities that coveted the darkness fled in terror, knowing their time was over. It was wonderful, but something was missing, so I decided to create you- a creature of purity and beauty. A morning star to share the light with as well as to share my hopes and dreams with. You, my son, shall be my right hand and most trusted consult and companion."

Samael takes the large hand that Father and Creator hold out and walks with him as he shouts to the light. Each command to the light for another creation, grass, clouds, and water. All new to him, yet somehow not as if Samael knows each creation beforehand and takes part in its birth. The trees and vines that permeate with fruits of every color and texture fill his emerald eyes as Father continues to do more wonders for them to covet and protect. Soon, Samael sees his creator more as a father than a superior, and he follows him faithfully in admiration and love.
