I entered the living room and leaned against the door, watching my sister and her "friend" talk to each other, and they were sitting so close together that they were almost touching. I didn't say a word while I watched them, both of them giggling while they talked without a care in the world.

I dipped my head closer to my chest and bit back a small smirk, glad that they didn't have any clothes off like I thought would have happened and cleared my throat to announce my presence.

The girls jumped apart and away from each other, and both of them stared at me with wide eyes and guilty expressions on their faces, which I ignored.

"Well, I see that Clarissa decided to bring a friend over from school," I said and looked at my older sister before I looked at the friend. "Are you the one that tried to change how she dressed and acted?" I asked and raised an eyebrow.

"No, she isn't," Clarissa said, defending her friend while she subconsciously moved closer to her. "Callie wouldn't do that to me."

"Good," I said and nodded while I studied Clarissa's friend with a critical gaze because she looked like someone that I knew but in a girl form, and the friend shifted uncomfortably underneath it. "You're Topher's sister, right?" I asked and raised an eyebrow, and she hesitated but nodded in confirmation.

"Yes, Ma'am," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm Topher's sister."

I wrinkled my nose and pursed my lips in disgust when she called me "Ma'am" before I shook my head. "Don't," I said, and she slowly blinked before she cocked her head and looked at me. "Don't call me "Ma'am," please. I am not a "Ma'am.""

"But you are a girl, right?" Clarissa asked while she raised an eyebrow in question, and I looked at her and scowled while I slowly blinked. An amused smile appeared on her face, and she shrugged. "What? You told her not to call you "Ma'am," right?"

I bit back an annoyed sigh before I shook my head and rubbed the bridge of my nose, feeling very annoyed. "I am a girl, but I am not a Ma'am, Clarissa," I said. "I'm too young to be one of them."

"Well, you're almost an adult, Chris," Clarissa said and gave me a pointed look, and I pursed my lips in annoyance while I wrinkled my nose in disgust. "I think it might be time to get used to being called a Ma'am."

I sighed and shook my head before I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet while I pursed my lips in annoyance while I looked at my younger sister. "Please, don't remind me, Clarissa," I said before I cleared my throat again and turned my attention back to Callie. "So, are you staying for movie night?" I asked while I raised an eyebrow in question.

"Yes," Callie said and nodded in confirmation. Her cheeks turned red, and she looked down. "If that is ok with you, of course," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Can I stay for movie night?"

"I-"

I raised a hand to silence my sister, and she narrowed her eyes and scowled. "It doesn't matter," I said and shrugged while I grimaced. "Your brother is coming over anyway. He'll be here shortly after he gets showered and do whatever else he wants to do."

Callie's eyes grew wide, and she looked at my sister before she looked at me while her face grew pale. "What?!" she asked, with a small shriek in her voice while it was barely above a whisper. "What do you mean that my brother is going to be here shortly?"

I blinked and blinked again before I scowled and narrowed my eyes, and Callie flinched and looked away from me. "Well, he is on my soccer team, and we are doing a bonding session tonight," I replied coldly. "I mean, it's Friday after all."

Callie blinked and blinked while she looked at me again. Her face was blank, and I had a feeling that she didn't recall this at all.

I bit back an annoyed sigh and shook my head while I moved my hand across my face. "Never mind," I said before I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet. "So, are you going to be staying?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question.
