Wonka and Noodle were fast asleep when the window slowly opened. A little person jumped in through and rushed towards the jar of chocolates on the floor, without expecting that he would set off the trap when he took a step in front of his target, being thrown towards a large glass jar

The young chocolatier woke up instantly when he heard him fall into the trap "Ha! Caught you!" Wonka carefully got out of bed so as not to wake the girl and took the jar before placing it under a light on his desk

The little man had a green hair, wearing a grey-ish suit and he looked rather upset "I demand to be let out!" he shouted

"You can speak..." Wonka muttered

"Well, of course I can speak! Now let me out of I shall shriek!"

"My daughter is sleeping so don't you dare" Willy said softly "So you're the funny little man who's been stealing my chocolate" he narrowed his eyes

"Funny little man? How dare you? I will have you know that I'm a perfectly respectable size for an Oompa Loompa" the little man explained, still upset

"...An Oompa what now?" Wonka was confused

"They call me Lofty, now I'd like for you to stop staring at me as if I'm some sort of unpleasant thing you've found in your hatch" Lofty said firmly "I find uncomfortable and frankly rude"

Wonka looked away slightly "...Sorry" he said

"Now let me out of here, you have no right to go around and trap innocent strangers" Lofty said

"Innocent? Hold on- you've been stealing from me for years" Willy looked back up towards the little man

"Well, you started it" the Oompa Loompa shrugged

"Me?" the chocolatier questioned

"You stole our cocoa beans!" Lofty accused him

"Please, lower your voice... and what are you talking about?" he continued without understanding

"You don't remember?"

"...Remember what?" Wonka said desperately

"The day you... destroyed my life" Lofty wiped away a fake tear

"...No, I don't remember that" he narrowed his eyes

"Allow me to refresh your memory in the form of a song, so catchy that it may never leave your mind" the Oompa Loompa pulled out a flutte from out of his sleeve and began to play it

"...Oh, I don't think I wanna hear that..."

"Too late, I started dancing now, once we start it, we can't stop it"

"Oompa Loompa doompety doo"

"I've got a tragic tale for you"

"Oompa Loompa doompety dee"

"If you are wise, you'll listen to me"

"In Loompa land, it's both luscious and green"

"But not conducive to growing the bean"

"My job was guarding what little we got"

"You came along and pinched the lot"

"Why didn't you say something?" Wonka questioned

"Well, perhaps I drifted off" Lofty shrugged

"Oompa Loompa doompety day"

"When I awoke, they sent me away"

"I'm disagred, cast out in the cold"

"Till I've paid my friends back a thousands fold"

Wonka's eyes widened "A thousand fold? You got to be kidding me!"

"I repeat, a thousand fold" Lofty repeated

"...Uh, Mr. Loompa, if you think that's a reasonable penalty for taking three beans-"

"Four beans" Lofty corrected him

"Four beans, then I'm sure we can come to some sort of understading... but I can't give you my entire supply" Wonka explained "There's someone who trust me" he pointed at Noodle, who was still sleeping

Lofty turned to look at the girl and then at Willy "Very well, I'll tell you what, you let me out of this thing and we can discuss it like gentlemen, hm?" he put his hands together

"...Okay" Wonka smiled, moving the jar away, freeing the Oompa Loompa

Lofty took a breath of fresh air "Well, what's your suggestion?" he asked

"I don't know, maybe I could give you some sovereign" Wonka suggested

"No way! Those things have no value to me" Lofty shouted

"...Okay, maybe I could give you some chocolate from my supply... but you would have to wait until tomorrow" the chocolatier said

"And how long do you think my patience lasts, kid?" the Oompa Loompa questioned

"Please, Mr. Loompa, I do everything I can" Wonka said desperately

The little orange man remained thoughtful for a few seconds, then turned to look at him "...Fine, we're both desperate gentlemen, I guess... I accept your offer, but only if you hand me that jar now"

"But-" young Willy hesitated "Ugh... fine" he said, taking the jar full of chocolates, handing it to the Oompa Loompa

"Well, this is fine for now" Lofty said, taking the jar "But I'll be watching that you don't evade our agreement" he added, heading towards the window "See ya, kid" then he jump out

Young Wonka let out a long sigh, now he had no more time to make more chocolates, seeing how the sky became clearer since dawn would soon arrive

The girl coughed a couple of times, still asleep. The chocolatier turned to look at her "What am I going to do now?" Wonka said to himself "I just hope to have some kind of miracle tomorrow..." he sat down on his bed, lying down carefully
