When they exited the apartment complex, Tara appeared from behind Sam making both older girls pause "Sam, Jade, slow down" Tara said speed walking to catch up with the two "Tara, no. Get back inside and lock the door" Sam told her sister looking down at her gently pushing her towards the doors "are you serious? Now you don't want to stick together?" Tara sassed, Jade smirked looking at her half sister "she's got a point" Sam clenched her jaw before she gave in "fine"
Jade smiled "your sticking by our side though okay?" Tara sent her a smile before nodding. The three walked down the road constantly checking over their shoulders just to be weary when Sam's phone began to ring both Jade and Tara shared a look as Sam pulled her phone from her pocket when she froze. Both girls looked over seeing Richie Kirsch come up on the screen "what the fuck" Tara mumbled with scared eyes "I never deleted his contact" Sam told them Jade stared at half sister with a look "don't answer that. That's like survival rule number one" Sam looked around with a glare as she pressed the green answer button, Jade ran a hand through her hair in frustration "that's it. We're dead" she mumbled in disbelief
"Who is this?" Sam continued to walk looking around Tara and Jade followed after her, Jade put her arm around Tara's shoulders protectively keeping her close, after a short pause Sam spoke again "I want you to think long and hard about whether you really want to do this. Because the last three people that fucked with us ended up dead" Jade felt eyes on her. She knew they were being watched she reached into her hoodie pocket clutching her pocket knife tightly
A man wearing all black walked around the corner making Sam eye him but he just walked past not even spearing the girls a glance "so what? You're protecting us now?" Jade furrowed her brows at Sam's response - the fuck was he talking about?
"You shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet, asshole" Sam responded to whatever he'd said, Tara looked up at Jade with a worried look. Jade just sent her a reassuring smile back "...you better watch yours"
Then from behind the girl a arm reached around Jade grabbing her in a headlock his other arm raised with the infamous hunters knife, she gasped before quickly elbowed the guy winding him giving her the chance to escape his arms just as Tara lunged forward shoving the killer into a bunch of bikes "go! Go!" Sam shouted grabbing her sister shoving her ahead as she grabbed Jades arm taking her with them "run!"
Sprinting down the road the three glanced over their shoulders seeing the cloaked figure running towards them, panic rose in Jade as she continued to push Tara ahead. The three sprinted into a local bodega throwing the door open "please help us!"
