"She insisted that it needed to be delivered as soon as possible so you don't get sad." Kate mentioned.
"She got the sweet pea right on time." Jax said.
"Good, because she insisted that you're going to need it. I also decided to stop by and see how your renovation is going." Kate mentioned. "Can I come in?"
"Sure. I actually did get one project done today." Jax smiled and stepped aside to let her come in.
"That's great." Kate said. She walked around and tried to figure out what Jax got done.
"Did you figure out which project I got done?" Jax asked as he stood next to her.
Kate looked around the house and when she looked at the kitchen it hit her. She turned to face Jax and had a big smile. "You put in all the tiles in the kitchen." She answered.
"I did." Jax confirmed. "I just put in the last tile when you knocked on the door."
"That's great, Jax. This is a big accomplishment." Kate stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him. He returned the gesture. Her left hand slid up and touched his hair. She pulled back to look at Jax. "It still amazes me how different you look with your new hair." Kate admitted.
(AN: Jax's haircut without the beard)
"Bad different?" Jax asked her.
"No. Different in an interesting way and also younger." Kate replied. "I know, it's a strange explanation."
