The screen opens to a split screen of Madi and Mer each In bed. It's 4.37am and raining
We live out our lives on the surgical unit. Seven days a week. Fourteen hours a day. We're together more than we're apart.
"Aaah!" Meredith screams, izzie is standing at the foot of her bed.
Madi is jolted out of sleep by meredith's scream, making her quickly get out of bed without her leg on, causing her to fall to the floor "Mer! I need help" she calls from the floor. Making Meredith rush in and slam the door
After a while...
"George's room is bigger than mine." Izzie tells them, opening the door to Madi's room, making madi throw a pillow at her and shout at her to get out, causing her to quickly shut the door "I have more clothes, I should get the bigger room." Izzie argues through the door causing madi to slam the door open, now fully dressed.

"Madi's bed is so comfy" Cristina drools as Bailey, Alex, izzie, George, Jackson, callie and Lexi agree making everyone look at them "how do all of you know how comfy Madi's bed is?" Hahn questions "sleepovers, with Mark in the bed" Cristinalaughs making lexi nod "we have fit at least 8 people in that bed at once including Madi, Mark, Bear and Beau" she tells the others "what about you Bailey?What's your Madi bed story?" Burke questions "it was after she was shot for the second time, Mark had to go back to NewYork to close the office and she was in a pit, wouldn't eat, sleep, move, so I went over and climbed into the bed and held her as she cried before helping her clean up and make the bed. She made pancakes and we just sat in silence drinking tea." Bailey reminisces smiling lightly
Izzie spots the bathroom. "How come madi has a bathroom, and we have to share?" She demands making the sisters stop and face her "because, Isobel, I have one leg and this is our house." Madi drawls sarcastically before hugging mer and leaving her alone with George and Izzie.
