⚠️ Note! The summary I'm about to tell you completely reveals the story of the first game.The protagonists of the events you're about to read are Avad and Aloy. Let me introduce them to you:

Aloy is a young woman who grew up marginalized from the Nora tribe alongside her adoptive father Rost, in a post-apocalyptic world where the human race is no longer the dominant species in the ecosystem. Now, the world is ruled by machines (imposing and some very tough when it comes to confrontation).

Aloy stands out physically with her red hair, as well as her tenacity and strength in the face of adversity. At times, she is reluctant to adhere to customs and social norms, having grown up as an outcast, and spending her entire life training to win the trial to gain entry into the Nora tribe, where the top performer is granted a wish. What she most desires is to meet her mother and find out why she was abandoned, so upon winning, she could ask the tribe's leaders about her origin, as they are the ones who know her background.

This huntress does not go unnoticed. In addition to her fiery-colored hair, she always carries a triangular device called a focus near her right ear, technology from the Old Ones [The Old Ones is the name given to our civilization, of which only remnants and ruins remain]. Besides having fought battles that have earned her fame and the respect of all, she is the first person (and practically one of the only ones) who can tame machines.
