I looked out of the window at the big, white, mansion that they call their Pack Home. This thing was huge. And it had a water fountain in the front of it. I didn't get a lot of time to admire the beautiful home, when Jake got out and picked me up. We went right by the Pack House, to what I'm guessing was the Alpha's and Luna's home. So he's the Alpha, or soon to be Alpha... I thought to myself. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I opened them again to see I was being set down in a room on a bed. "Make yourself at home." He said. I raised an eyebrow, "This isn't my home and it never will be.." I growled at him, crossing my arms. Jake growled and pinned me to the bed. I looked up at him unfazed. "You will have to accept me, sooner or later." He hissed. "Hmm.. How about.. Never?" I asked. He growled deeply, "I'll be bank in a minute.." He backed off and walked out of the room, locking it from the outside.
I sighed and then saw there was a balcony. I turned invisable and walked out onto the balcony. I jumped over the edge of the balcony, but landed wrong and hurt my ankle. I screamed inside my head as I slowly became visable because of the pain. I used a tree to help myself stand up. I gasped as I heard Jake growl and jump off the balcony too. I quickly tried to limp away, but felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I didn't have the energy to fight to get away, so I just looked down at my hurt ankle, my eyes full of pain. Then I heard him growl, "Did you not just hear me?" I shook my head and looked up at him. He sighed and picked me up, without hurting my ankle, and said, "I'm taking you to the pack doctor, Mrs. Bow." He said. I sighed and gave a slight nod. Then I felt myself falling asleep...
I woke up in a plain, white room. I looked around and sat up and looked at my ankle. It had a cast on it. I slowly put my legs over the edge of the bed to get up and leave, but I felt Jake's hands on my shoulders and he asked, "Now were do you think your going?" I tried to get up again, but he wouldn't let me, so I answered, "I want to go home, I don't care how far away I am, or how much I may hate my older brothers, I want to go home." I said and finally stood up and found a pair of crutches next to the bed I was lying on. I picked them up and opened the door and used the crutches to get out of this place, as fast as I could.
Jake stood infront of me as I reached the exit door. "Why do you want to leave your mate?" He asked me with a hurt expression. I tried to get past him as I said, "This isn't my home. I want to go back to were my bestfriend and little sister are, my little sister needs me, since she doesn't have our mom, and I'll do whatever it takes to get back to her." I said and pushed past him and outside. I walked straight from the doctors place and tried to find my way out of this place.
Jake ran infront of me and placed a hand on my shoulder. I growled at him, "Get your hand off my shoulder and don't touch me.." He raised an eyebrow and was about to put his other hand somewhere, but I moved and walked past him, in what direction I think I come from when I was in that black truck. Jake growled and wrapped his arms around my waist and said, "I'm not letting my mate leave, even if you are human.." He said. That's when I popped. I threw down the crutches and gently placed my hurt leg down, and I raised my hands in the air. "Why do you keep calling me human?! I'm not! I'm a werewolf, just like you! But I can do something you can't. But quit calling me that and I'll just be leaving now..!" I yelled at him a wobbled away.
Next thing I knew, Jake placed his hands on my waist and spun me around to face him. I was about to say something, when he smashed his lips to mine and moved a hand behind my head so I couldn't pull away. I felt sparks go though my body, but I ignored that. He finally pulled away and I wiped my lips off grossed out. I looked at him, and he was smirking. "You know you loved that." He said. I growled and shook my head in disagreement and turned around to walk away, but I heard him say, "Stop right there, or you get another kiss." He said my eyes widened a little and I stopped in my tracks and let him guide me back to the house.
Jake tried to sit me down on the bed with him, but I sat on the floor in the corner. I hugged my unhurt leg and sighed. Jake came over and rested his arm on my shoulder, making me growl a little. He made no notice of it and pulled me closer to him and said, "So tell me about yourself, Rose." I looked at him and shook my head then said, "You first..." He shrugged and said, "I'm an only child, and my favorite color is the color of your blue eyes." I looked at him weird and said, "Wow, you haven't noticed yet? My left eye is blue and my right eye is green." His eyes widened and he cupped my cheek and made me look at him in the eyes. "Beautiful..." He murmured. "Um.. Thanks?" I said and pulled away. He looked at me with that, 'tell me more' look. I sighed and said, "I have two older brothers, they're twins, and I have my little sister, she's four. My brothers are both eighteen and a half. My parents died in war, and my favorite color is the color of sapphires.." I said. Jake blinked and asked, "Why did you say you hate your older brothers erlier..?" I looked down and mumbled, "Lets just say I have tons of s-scars..." He growled and wrapped his arms around me and said, "I won't let that happen to you ever again." I pushed his arm away and looked at him, "I need to go home, Jake. I don't want my little sister, Casey, to grow up like I did. Every single time I did something that I wasn't suppose to, or get a bad grade in school, I'd get beat. I was the only one making it possible for that not happen to her. Please.." I asked with tears forming in my eyes. He took a deep breath and said, "Okay lets go, your little sister can move in here." I nodded and hugged him and he carried me outside to the truck.
