What is it?
It is a religion based on the Old Norse Religion, which was practised throughout Scandinavia before Christianity was spread through it.
Scandinavian Countries:
Scandinavia is a subregion in Europe (Northern Europe). It most commonly refers to Denmark, Norway and Sweden. It sometimes Iceland and the Faroa Islands for their relations with the last 3 mentioned. Finland isn't technically Scandinavian, but people sometimes call it that because of its cultural similarities to other Nordic countries. What is a Pagan Religion?
Pagan religions are usually very Earth-conscious and sacred, and believe in multiple different gods and goddesses. Witches and wiccans often have paganistic beliefs. What do Norse Pagans believe?
Their beliefs centre around the scared tree named Yggdrasil (pronounced as ig-drug-sil). Yggdrasil is the holder of nine different realms, Midgard (our realm) being one of them.

Midgard: Humans
Asgard: Gods and Goddesses
Hel: home of the dead basically
Nifleim: basically just a land of ice
Jotunheimer: giants
Nioavellir: dwarves
Alfeim: The light elves and Freya, the goddess of love, beauty, fertility, sex, war, gold, and seiðr (a magic associated with seeing the future)
Vanaheim: any gods that are part of the Vanir, which are gods associated with fertility, wisdom and seiðr
Muspelheim: ruled by Surtr, a giant that plays a major role in Ragnarök
