Alya was young when her kingdom was taken over, Rajani had wiped Alya's mind of the six years before he took her father's life.
Alya was now fifteen, her brother, Walter, was a year older. Both Walter and Alya had no idea that Rajani was not their father.
Walter had earth powers, he had been born with them. Unlike Walter, Alya had no powers she never knew why. She would ask Rajani why she didn't have powers, he would simply say that one day she would receive a gift. Alya believed him for some time, but after ten years, believing him was hard.
Alya and Walter were taught how to fight and how to use every weapon. They were also taught politics, history, math, science. Alya was skilled in combat, but never understood politics or science. Although she was skilled in combat and weapons she was fascinated by the history she thought was real.
