2: Dry spell

Being on top was fairly easy, but spending was even more effortless especially with the stuff they bought like their famous glamorous gold themed outfits that made them stand out more.

Velvet wearing a skin tight metallic golden spaghetti strap crop top with matching shimmery shorts that were flared enough to almost appear as if it were a skirt, her custom made choker that had the ability to Scry so it matched the supernatural feature of her sister's.

Veneer on the other hand wore a tie in the front long sleeved metallic gold crop top with trumpet sleeves along with an A line skirt of the same shining material. Their outfits were similar in appearance but small tiny details made them stand out in their own way, much like Velvet and Veneer themselves,

Velvet wore her straight emerald hair in a waist length while Veneer had thick ringlets of curls that just reached past her breasts. Velvet had flawless and pristine skin while Veneer had two star shaped beauty marks that she hid with makeup, with one being under her right eye and the other on the soft flesh of her right breast.

The younger twin wore violets and pinks while the older wore cyans and greens. Velvet wearing crystal dangling pinky purple earrings with her sister wearing small indigo crystalline hoops which not only matched her choker but her green and blue aesthetic that she established.

While the older twin had stunning dreamy kyanite blue irises that twinkled with excitement, the younger had a pastel sky blue that appeared cloudy making her almost Larimar jewels sparkle with glee and ambition.

The differences didn't stop in just looks, their personalities clashed too, despite being the older twin Veneer much acted like the younger one, always letting Velvet take the reigns and letting her baby sister make all the plans for them.

If they were animals they'd be a Cat and Dog, that was how their personalities clashed with each other especially since Veneer acted like a golden retriever to every damn person they met.

But that's how Veneer was able to land them an interview with Kid Ritz, her puppy like personality drawing him in and even befriending her on their first meeting.

Velvet definitely found that useful since Veneer was much better with their fans and public appearances. She was also good at keeping Velvet cool and collected during their outing into the public eye.

That's how Veneer accidentally got Orchid to be her younger sister's girlfriend, Veneer's happy chattering lead into a plethora of darker roads like the unintentional spilling to Orchid that Velvet had a massive crush on her after they met during their red carpet walk and kept in contact.

Velvet knew she couldn't blame her chatterbox of a twin, Veneer like to talk and yapped like her life depended on it. But it indubitably spooked Velvet that orchid reciprocated her feelings with a pale blue rose in those pinky purple hands with a flush on matching cheeks.

So Velvet could be thankful to her sister's open and happy chilled vibe. Not to mention that fat blabber mouth that not only landed them in hot water but elevated them to higher places. Veneer's chattiness with her friendliness was certainly a double edged sword.

After all, Velvet knew that she was the brains of their two woman operation and Veneer flawlessly took the role of the brawn and acted almost like her backbone.

Except when there's a bug.. Velvet usually had to comfort Veneer after every time her older sister found a spider in her bedroom. Veneer didn't do bugs the way Velvet didn't do socializing. However they've traded off with Velvet killing any bugs that haunted her sister's bedroom and Veneer taking the lead during their more social events that required a lot of socializing with other Rageons.
