The Prelude of a New ThreatOne year had passed since the Great Rumbling, since the Titan war had come to an end. The island of Paradis was finally at peace, liberated through the sacrifice of Eren Jaeger. The world was also freed from the Titans and the Eldians from their powers and Ymir's curse. The alliance composed of Armin, Levi, Mikasa, Pieck, Reiner, Annie, Jean, Connie, Gabi, and Falco had managed to stop Eren at the port of Marley, thus thwarting his plan to eliminate the rest of the world. And in the meantime, Sieg, Eren's brother, had managed to escape and remained elusive.
During the alliance's final battle against Eren at the port of Marley, Hanji was discussing with the military generals from all over the world, trying to convince them to make peace. She was trying to persuade them, hoping to find a peaceful solution to this war that had devastated so many lives. Hanji was still alive because Floch couldn't follow them on the boat and had stayed at the port of Paradis. Floch now leads the Pro-Jeager army. Historia had recovered after giving birth and had regained control of the situation in Paradis.
Everything seems to have changed in the world, at least on the surface because while some were relieved to know that Titans no longer exist, others are trying to find a way to bring them back...
The Republic of Noresta was plunged into a stormy night. Lightning illuminated the dark sky as a doctor worked late in a secret government laboratory. A glimmer of excitement shone in his eyes as he approached an unconscious body lying on an operating table. This mysterious man was the subject of an experiment that promised to forever change the course of humanity. The doctor had spent many months on this desperate experiment in the hope of artificially reforming the power of the Titans. Through his research, he had succeeded in evolving the patient's body, strengthening it with extraordinary power. When the patient woke up, the doctor couldn't help but smile triumphantly. But his optimism quickly turned to terror as the once harmless hand of the man transformed into a powerful weapon, capable of tearing through the sturdiest steel. He attacked the doctor with a swift, devastating blow, leaving him with a gaping hole that immediately tore him apart. The scientist collapsed, a victim of his own creation, while the mysterious patient seemed unfazed by what he had just done. A sinister smile spread across his lips as he left the room, proud of his newfound power.
Meanwhile, on the island of Paradis, Finn and Anna, two young inhabitants of the island, hurried along the way home as the rain beat violently against their faces.
The storm seemed to want to take their hopes with it. The sky was dark, with only a few lightning bolts piercing it like threatening spears. Suddenly, movement in a nearby river caught their attention. Intrigued, they approached cautiously and discovered a floating, lifeless body. It was a man, his skin almost deathly pale, his medium-length chestnut hair plastered to his face.Worried for his survival, Finn and Anna acted quickly. Despite the freezing temperature and torrential rain, they managed to pull the body out of the water, and Finn quickly covered his naked body with his coat. With caution, they checked his pulse and were surprised to find that he was still alive.
Anna: Finn, he's still alive! We need to take him to a warm place quickly.
Finn: Alright. Help me carry him.
The two young people lifted him carefully and decided to take him with them to care for him.
This event marked the beginning of a new threat, a dangerous shadow looming over the post-Rumbling world. Finn and Anna were now linked to this stranger. Questions were already beginning to sprout in their minds: who is he, and how did he survive? A new adventure awaits them, and the mysteries only deepen...
