Nadine said that their fast rise in popularity after starring in Diary ng Panget last year was very unexpected. "Ako nga po with everything that's happening until now parang kulang pa ako sa kurot.Parang hindi pa nag-si-sink in sa akin lahat ng nangyayari. It happened so fast kasi na parang hindi pa nag-sink in sa amin parehas. Kasi ang bilis, sobrang bilis. Even sa akin minsan parang pagkasama kofamily ko, mag-mo-mall lang ako, parang nangyari ito, nangyari ang Diary ng Panget and everything soyun. We're just really thankful kasi ang bilib nung nangyari and all the hard work finally paid off. So I'm doing the best that I can and enjoying everything," she admitted.

With fame also comes the pressure to maintain a certain celebrity status which Nadine is very much aware of, especially now that they have been given a teleserye in the Kapamilya network. "Palagi naman ako na-pe-pressure eh (laughs). Ito kasi, unlike sa movies, prarang ito lahat ng tao mapapanuod nila even yung mga TFC subscribers. But it's the excitement. Mas nananaig yung excitement kesa sa pressure. Parang it's good to feel pressure kasi parang feeling mo na mas ma-cha-challenge mo yung sarili mo to do better," she explained.

Apart from their upcoming show, the two also star in the upcoming Star Cinema teen movie Para Sa Hopeless Romantic which starts showing later this month. Even though James has been rumored to be dating other girls, Nadine wanted to assure their fans that everything is fine with her. "Relax lang kayo, okay lang yun (laughs). Kasi minsan when they get affected parang medyo siyempre na-di-disappoint sila, ganyan and some of them are thinking that parang na-hu-hurt daw ako and all that. We're okay. Solid tayo so relax lang kayo diyan, kaya natin ito," she explained.
