Mason and I were STILL driving back home from a road trip, we still had about 2 hours so we wouldn't be home until 4 in the morning. I was so tired. I could tell mason was as-well, not as bad as me though. We pulled into a gas station so he could buy himself a red bull and a few snacks. When he came back after 15 minutes I was slowly falling asleep, that was until Mason opened the driver door.
"sweetheart.?" He said quietly just incase I was asleep.
"Hi mase.." I said looking at him.
"tired?"
"yea."
"im sorry, we should have left earlier.."
"it isn't your fault baby..I wanted to stay too." I said chuckling, Mason smiled back at me and got into the car.
"not too much longer my love, you can stay at my house if you don't want to go home." He says
"okay.."
Not too long after Mason placed his hand on my thigh and massaged it with his thumb.
4:12 AM
We were pulling into masons parking lot, finally. I woke up around 5 minutes ago, mason looked so tired. Like he would pass out any minute now. We got out of the car and made our way inside. We went upstairs and threw ourselves on bed,
"im so tired." I say
"yea me too.."
"im going to bed.."
"me too. now come here I wanna cuddle."
"come here you big baby.."
Mason and I got closer to each other and he buried his face into the crook of my neck.
"goodnight baby..i love you"
"goodnight sweet girl, i love you more.."
