Backstory: Iris was born twekve minutes before her twin sister Gracie Jessamine Bailey. They were both born two months early. Iris was born with a problem with her eyes. Noah took her to the hospital for weeks after her birth and they did exams and tests on her. And eventually, they had to tell Noah and Florence that she had an eye disease. Immediately, Iris was put into treatment to try to save her eyes. But it just kept getting worse. And they treated her by giving her injections and other treatments. But it was too late and she becam totally blind. And years later even though she doesn't have the desease anymore, she has to have follow ups and if she coughs or has aches or anything, she has to go to the doctor to protect her life.

Extra information: When Natalie found out her niece had an eye disease and she was blind, Natalie hated Iris and her family. So Natalie started abusing Iris due to her disability and because of her sexuality. All Iris wanted was to be free and to live a happy life But she got her twin sister taken from her when she was five since Natalie tried killing poor Gracie. Which caused Noah and Florence to send Gracie away to France where her cousin Isla and uncle Alfanso lived. But it made Iris very upset. And while that was happening, Iris met Nicola Tyler who would eventually make Iris expelled from the school. 

Because Iris had ODD and other health concerns, she kept getting expelled from schools. Though she was able to stay at Auroran river because she was very smartt.
