5) Parties and Dates

HIM

It was a Friday night when he met her and this Friday he intended to go to another college party in hopes that she would be there. He had his mates there this time round, just in case he froze up again. He didn't tell his friends that he froze up though, he just mentioned that he was going and the boys said that they'd come and he let them. He dodged drunken females and sweaty, creepy guys until the sun rose but she wasn't there and eventually he gave up. He wasn't going to admit it but he felt completely and utterly useless. Maybe some god up in the sky had given him a once in a lifetime chance and he had messed it up. He seemed to be doing that a lot recently. He wondered that if in an alternative universe he would have actually talked to her and they could have been having coffee right now or playing X-box or anything. He would do literally anything with her.
