New arrival

3rd pov

"Mom , mom, MOM , where are you.....?" Evan rushed inside the house calling out to his mother
"What happened Evan " asked his mother with concern sensing her son's unusual mood as she came wringing her hands dry .
"Mom remember the audition, the one at Harvey entertainment studio"
" yes dear , why , did any response arrive for you to be jumping up and down from such an excitement " his mother replied teasingly with mirth dancing in her eyes
"Mom" complained Evan with embarrassment"Butttttt, yes mumma , guess what .......... I got selected " proudly declared Evan while showing off the email which has arrived

A teardrop spilled from the corner of mrs . Beth's eyes
A hand reached out wiping the solemn bead of tear rolling down her cheeks
He then continued to pull mrs . Beth in a side hug and draping one arm over Evan
"Dad" called out Evan emotionally
" Evan , you did it , but don't stop your efforts here son. You have a lot of struggle ahead awaiting you . The path you have chosen is full of thorns" adviced his father
"But it's also important to celebrate every success in life , no matter how small or big, every step forward is a milestone of its own " added his mother with a tearful smile , tears of joy , of tension, of relief , and anticipation of upcoming future all mixed in one .

As Evan was getting ready to meet his seniors , coworkers and teammates, his mind wandered back to the past reminiscing in the memories.
Just a distance of a door , he will meet his soon to be , future friends, enemies, compitition or whatever the destiny has in store for him .
( opps 🤭 but sorry Evan , destiny {or the author} has a lot in store for you 😉)

["Ready " suddenly he was pulled back to reality as a low pitched voice spoke from behind him ]
