"Okay, babe. That's enough." Toni held Janet's waist as she kissed her again. "Babe."

"Hmmm." Janet hummed against her lips. Toni broke the kiss.

"You have to go to school." Janet frowned.

"I don't want to."

"I know, but you'll see me during your free period."

"You promise?"

"I promise." It had been a few weeks since Janet and Toni decided to be together and the entire time they've been obsessed with each other. They talk all the time and they've learned a lot about each other already. Turns out, Toni is a lot softer than Janet realized. Granted she was only soft with her, it was still soft. "Go to school."

"Okay." They had one last kiss and Janet went inside. The principal worked overtime to ensure that school was safe for Janet. The school board worked hard as well. The CEO even took a personal interest in it. The principal was confused until it came out that Janet had the highest test scores in the entire district and they didn't want to lose her. The principal was upset that they didn't care about the sexual assault as much as the scores, but if she's safe that's all that counts.

Janet walked into the building and headed to her lockers. She knew that everyone was looking at her but she didn't care. She went about her business. Getting to her locker, she got her books out for her first classes of the day. She touched up her lip gloss and hair before closing her locker and heading to class. She entered her first class and was greeted by a very excited Ms. Michaels. "Janet. How are you, honey?"

"I'm good." She hugged her.

"That's good. You were definitely missed."

"Thank you."

"Are you going to need any help catching up?"

"No, I did some studying while being home."

"Awesome. Go ahead and take your seat. We have a free seating chart now so sit wherever you please."

"Thanks." Janet sat right in the front. The teacher smiled. Janet and never been one to sit in the front of the class. She liked to fade in the background, but apparently not anymore.

The bell rang and students started to come into the classroom. A few of them looked at her in slight shock and a few whispered. Janet overheard a few of them, but kept her focus. She didn't care about anyone else's opinions anymore and she definitely didn't care what they had to say. She only had a year left here anyway.

"Girl, you need to stop." She heard familiar laughter coming from the hall. Jenny and her little crew walked into the classroom. Janet spotted them out of the side of her eye as she scrolled through her phone. Everyone in the class stopped talking and it was dead silent. Janet looked up and saw Jenny.

"Hi." Janet smiled. "Can I help you?"

"You're in my seat."

"Pick a new one."

"This one is mine."

"Evidently not." The other students giggled and whispered. Jenny got visibly angry.

"Get up or else." Janet played scared.

"Oh please no. I don't want any trouble." Then she laughed. "Girl, you don't scare nobody."

"I scare you."

"Since when? Last time I checked, I whooped your ass. Maybe I hit you too hard because you've seemed to have forgotten. Would you like me to jog your memory?" The class laughed. Ms. Michaels even had to hold back her laughter. She was very happy that Janet was standing up to Jenny. Wait until the other teachers hear this.
"You got lucky."
