Kellin took my hand and we took off running through the field until we came upon a beautiful picnic that he had set up. We sat down and he started pouring me something to drink.
"Thank you..." I say, as he hands me the glass.
"For what?" He replies.
"Well, for everything! It's so beautiful and quite peaceful out here...how'd you ever find it?"
"Well.....I used to c-cut....." He says as he starts fiddling with his fingers. " and when throngs got really tough at home....I would run away to my "happy-place".....which is this field...."
"Wow..." Was all I could say...
"I could come here and think, scream, cry, be human....and no one could stop me. So, that's why I thought of bringing you here..."
"I don't understand...." I say.
"Let me clarify....i have made so many memories here alone...now I want to make the rest with you...." He says as he stares in my eyes.
I lean in and gently kiss his lips, then his nose, and each of his cheeks.
"I love you..." I say as I gaze into his seductive eyes.
"Forever?" He asks.
"Always." I reply.
*a few hours later*
We're laying on our backs on the blanket staring at the stars. "It's beautiful..." I whisper.
"Just like you." He says.
"Look!" I shout. "It's a shooting star!" I say as I point at it shooting across the sky.
"Make a wish" I tell him.
"I already have everything I need right here beside me..." He whispers as he gently kisses my cheeks.
