To say Neteyam felt bad would be an understatement. Y/n had caught his eye from the moment he had first saw her, as her scars made her stick out front a crowd. Although his siblings being convinced y/n was heartless, going so far as to nickname her the ice queen, he saw the glimmer of concern in her eyes as they slipped on the ice or the determination on her face when trying to teach them. He felt bad seing her brought home injured and bloody. He felt bad seeing her helped to the tashík tent, but, most of all, he felt bad for not visiting her or speaking to her.

Lila had done some basic training with the sullies as y/n was the only one who could teach them to ride a Swizawintxuri.

It had been a few weeks and winter had rolled in. The sun's set and hadn't yet risen again despite it having been many weeks. Supplies had been stockpiled and most of the Fyao aymokri clan members were holes up in their respective cabins. The sully siblings also had, but felt sort of suffocated and decided to go for a walk.
