Lost in her thoughts, Hermione couldn't help but feel a pang of longing deep within her heart. She yearned to be by Alexia's side, to share in the wonder and beauty of the magical world that surrounded them. Yet, even from a distance, Hermione found solace in the simple joy of witnessing her girlfriend's happiness, knowing that their connection transcended the boundaries of time and space.

As the lesson drew to a close and the unicorns began to retreat into the depths of the forest, Hermione lingered a moment longer, etching the image of Alexia among the unicorns into her memory. In that fleeting moment, amidst the whispers of the forest and the soft glow of the setting sun, Hermione felt a profound sense of gratitude for the gift of love that had brought them together, uniting their hearts in a bond that was as timeless and enduring as the magic of the unicorns themselves.

As they made their way back to the school grounds, Alexia couldn't shake the feeling of unease about Hagrid's absence. She turned to her friends, hoping for some answers, but they too were in the dark. Disappointed, Alexia bid them farewell as she headed off to her final week of detention, teaching Quidditch to the first years.

To her surprise, Hermione reached out and took her hand, intertwining their fingers as they walked together. Alexia felt a rush of warmth flood through her at the simple gesture, her heart fluttering with joy. It had been a week since they had officially started dating, and while Hermione had been somewhat reserved about displaying affection in public, this small act spoke volumes to Alexia.

Grinning like a fool, Alexia glanced over at Hermione, her heart swelling with love for the girl beside her. Despite the chaos and uncertainty swirling around them, at that moment, all Alexia could focus on was the feeling of Hermione's hand in hers, the tangible connection between them serving as a reminder of the bond they shared.

Alexia couldn't resist the urge to playfully tease her girlfriend about the small, yet significant, gesture. With a mischievous glint in her eye, she gently nudged Hermione's side and flashed her a cheeky grin.

"Well, well, well, Hermione Granger," Alexia began, her voice laced with amusement. "I must say, I didn't expect you to be so bold as to hold my hand in public. Have I finally managed to charm you into submission?"

Her tone was playful, but underneath the teasing facade, Alexia's heart swelled with affection for the girl beside her. She cherished these moments of lighthearted banter, revelling in the warmth and happiness that radiated between them.

Hermione rolled her eyes in mock exasperation, though a soft smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "Oh, please," she retorted, her voice tinged with amusement. "Don't flatter yourself too much, Alex. I just thought it was about time I showed the world how lucky I am to have you."

The sincerity in Hermione's words warmed Alexia's heart, and she couldn't help but pull her girlfriend into a gentle hug, planting a kiss on her cheek. "Well, in that case," she replied, her voice soft with affection, "I consider myself the luckiest girl in the world to have you by my side."

With a confident stride, Alexia made her way to the centre of the Quidditch field, the eager first years gathering around her with anticipation in their eyes. Hermione settled herself on the benches nearby, pulling out her books and parchment to work on some homework while she watched.

Clearing her throat to command attention, Alexia flashed a bright smile at the group of young witches and wizards before her. "Alright, listen up, everyone!" she called out, her voice carrying across the field. "Today, we're going to put all of your hard work and training to the test. We're going to have a friendly game to see just how much you've improved."

The first years erupted into excited chatter, their faces lighting up with enthusiasm at the prospect of playing a real Quidditch match. Alexia couldn't help but feel a surge of pride at their eagerness, knowing that she had played a role in nurturing their love for the sport."Remember everything we've been practising," Alexia reminded them, her tone firm but encouraging. "Stay focused, work together as a team, and most importantly, have fun out there. Now, let's show everyone what we're made of!"
