Alexia's eyes widened in shock at the outrageous accusation. "That's outrageous!" she exclaimed, her voice rising in indignation. "Hagrid is one of the most loyal and compassionate people I know. He'd never harm anyone."

Harry nodded in agreement, his expression darkening with anger. "Rita Skeeter will stoop to any low to sell a story," he remarked bitterly, his fists clenching in frustration. "We need to do something about this."

Ron's jaw tightened with determination as he glanced around the table at his friends. "We can't let her get away with spreading lies like this," he declared, his voice resonating with resolve.

As the afternoon sun cast long shadows across the Hogwarts grounds, Alexia, Hermione, Harry, and Ron made their way to the Care of Magical Creatures class, their steps filled with determination to seek out Hagrid and offer their support in light of the scandalous article published by Rita Skeeter.

However, as they approached Hagrid's cabin, they were met with an unexpected sight. Instead of Hagrid's familiar figure, it was Professor Grubbly-Plank who stood before them, her sharp gaze surveying the approaching students.

Confusion flickered across Alexia's face as she exchanged puzzled looks with Hermione, Harry, and Ron. "Where's Hagrid?" she muttered, her voice tinged with concern.

Hermione furrowed her brow, casting a wary glance at the substitute professor. "I'm not sure," she replied, her tone wary. "But we need to find out what's going on."

Harry nodded in agreement, his eyes narrowing with suspicion. "Let's talk to Professor Grubbly-Plank," he suggested, his voice low with determination. "She might know something about Hagrid's absence."

With a shared nod of resolve, Alexia, Hermione, Harry, and Ron approached Professor Grubbly-Plank, their minds buzzing with questions and apprehension about Hagrid's sudden disappearance.

As Professor Grubbly-Plank led the class through the lesson on Unicorns, Alexia couldn't help but notice the peculiar behaviour of the majestic creatures. While the other students observed from a distance, the Unicorns seemed inexplicably drawn to her, their graceful forms gravitating towards her with an almost magnetic pull.

As the Unicorns approached, their gentle eyes fixed on Alexia, a sense of awe and wonder rippled through the class. Whispers of curiosity and jealousy murmured among the students, their eyes flickering with a mixture of admiration and envy.

Hermione, Harry, and Ron exchanged bemused glances, their curiosity piqued by the Unicorns' unusual behaviour. Even Professor Grubbly-Plank seemed taken aback by the spectacle, her eyebrows knitting together in silent contemplation.

Amidst the whispers and shifting gazes, Alexia remained remarkably composed, her demeanour calm and collected as she stood amidst the radiant presence of the Unicorns. Though she couldn't quite understand why the creatures seemed so drawn to her, she couldn't deny the profound sense of connection she felt in their presence.

The professor continued the lesson, her gaze kept drifting back to Alexia, who seemed to share an inexplicable connection with the unicorns. Alexia's laughter filled the air as one of the unicorns affectionately licked her hand, eliciting a chorus of delighted gasps from her classmates.

Among the onlookers, Hermione couldn't tear her eyes away from the enchanting scene unfolding before her. Her heart swelled with a mixture of joy and longing as she watched her girlfriend surrounded by the gentle creatures, her laughter blending harmoniously with the soft rustle of the forest.

From her vantage point, Hermione observed Alexia's radiant smile and sparkling eyes, captivated by the sheer magic of the moment. There was something undeniably mesmerizing about the way Alexia interacted with the unicorns, as if she belonged among them, her presence weaving seamlessly into the tapestry of the enchanted forest.
