"aha, yes you did. you're so silly. come on, let's eat now."

suzy followed me downstairs to the table, while nate cleaned up the toys.

"why didn't the cute boy come down with us?" she asks, shoving a nugget in her mouth,

"the cute boy? well, he is picking up the toys."

"he looks like a prince."

"a prince, huh? does that make me the princess?" i ask.

"no, i'm the princess, you're the maid."

i gasp, "wow. how about i'm the princess and you're the maid."

"no! i'm the princess. and he is the prince."

"are you taking my boyfriend from me?" i ask with a little smile.

"yes, he is my boyfriend now. you can do the dishes, while we do prince and princess things."

"you should tell him this."

"i will. where is he?"

"nate! come down here!" i call.

nate runs down the stairs, "yes?"

"hello prince." suzy giggles.

"prince? i don't think im cut out to be a prince.

"you are as handsome as a prince. like prince charming." she says.

"really? who are you? the queen?"

"no i'm the princess."

"is y/n the queen then?"

"no, she the maid."

nate can't help but laugh, "the maid? wow."

suzy finishes her nuggets, and then we all go over to the couch.

"let's watch a movie, suz. you pick." i say.

"cinderella!" she exclaims excitedly.

"you got it." i say, turning it on.

as we watch the movie, nate brings over a fresh bucket of popcorn.

"see! that's you!" suzy says, pointing at prince charming, who was on screen.

"and you're like cinderella at the beginning, and i'm cinderella now." she says.

"what if you are both cinderella?" nate asks.

"no, i'm cinderella only."

"yeah but cinderella at the beginning of the movie is still the same cinderella at the end. you both can be princesses." he says.

"fine. we are both the princesses!" she says with a cheeky smile.

i smile at nate, and then at suzy.

"can we play again please." she asks.

i nod, and get up off the couch.

"can you piggy back ride." she asks, holding her arms up at nate.

"sure," he says, squatting down, as suzy climbs on his back from the couch.

nate carries her upstairs, and we play barbie's again.

"alright, it's time for your bedtime, little miss." i say.

"aww, fine."

i bring suzy into my room and lay her down on the bed.

"what do you want to watch as you fall asleep?"

"the sleeping beauty."

"that's going to be you tonight." nate says, with a soft smile.

"yes it will be." she giggles.

i turn the movie on for her, and go and give her a kiss on the forehead goodnight.

"goodnight y/n!" she says, giving me a hug.

"goodnight." i say:

"goodnight suzy." nate says, walking over to the bed.

"goodnight pretty eyes boy." she says with a little laugh.

nate laughs.

i turn the lights off, and we walk out of the room.
