It's something I've been planning to make for several years now, and after much internal debate, I've finally decided to give it my best on this app and share it with the rest of the world. This is a work of fiction, so all the characters, situations, associations, organizations, and correspondences are in no way deliberate representations of the real world.
The trouble with writing a Heidelberg University story is that anyone who has been there will carefully examine your text to determine if your representation of Heidelberg aligns with their own reflections of the place. Surprisingly, I've never been there. My story is a work of speculative fiction and so takes place in a fantastical version of Heidelberg that begins in the 1810s and continues into the contemporary period, whose history was thoroughly altered by a series of preservations (more or less). If you find any inconsistencies, feel free to remind yourself that this is a work of fiction.🤗
