"Finally..." Raxe huffed as you both approached him, and handed Caspian the saddle he was holding. "Can you put that with the other one over there?" He asked.
"Last time I checked I was the king." Caspian chuckled. "Raxelon."
"Don't call me that." Raxe grumbled. "I hate when people call me that..."
"Why?" Caspian smiled, "It's your name isn't it?"
"Raxelon is his father." You explained. "Raxe, was named for him, but technically his name is just that, a shortened version. When we were younger, people were always calling him 'little Raxelon' or 'Raxelon jr.' because he looked like a miniature version of his father."
"What's wrong with that?" Caspian asked genuinely to Raxe. "I have a shared name with my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather."
"Yea but for you it's a badge of honor, a symbol of your bloodline." Raxe replied. "We were nobodies, living on a small island where it was difficult enough to break the stigmas you were born into. To be automatically associated as a miniature version of my father... It made me feel like I was destined to be exactly like him. As if the opportunity to be my own man had been stolen from me before I could even speak up for myself."
"But I thought you loved your father?" Caspian asked.
"I do...I did. But that doesn't mean I didn't want to be known as my own person." Raxe said plainly as he placed that last of the saddles over a fence post. "Besides, it's not even my name. My mother named me 'Raxe', yes for my father but not to be his copy."
"I suppose I can understand that, I apologize for the insensitive joke." Caspian stretched his hand out to Raxe.
"No harm done." Raxe smiled and shook it. "Changing the subject... you two..." He raised his eyebrow looking between Caspian and yourself.
You blushed. "Us two?"
"Yes. Don't think it hasn't been completely obvious that you two have been acting very different all day." He folded his arms.
You looked at Caspian, and he sighed. "Alright but you are sworn to secrecy. As your King." He emphasized.
"Alright, alright." Raxe agreed.
Caspian explained his conversation with Princess Irilin, and the agreement you both made.
"Huh." Raxe thought. "As long as you're ok with this?" He looked to you, and you nodded. "I can't deny that you two are much easier to deal with when you're together." He chuckled. "Alright. Your secret's safe... again." He rolled his eyes.

You spend the next few days helping your mother however you could with her cure. She was equally surprised and overjoyed to see her old journal again, and spent her free time updating it with anything she had learned since she left it behind. You learned so much from her in such a short time, behaving as a sponge. Any little piece of information you could retain, you did, and what you couldn't you wrote down. You were noticing as the days wore on, your mother developed a cough, and her voice began to sound hoarse and raspy. She tried to assure you she felt fine, but you all knew this was a sign the fungus was spreading.
Caspian wrote to Cornelius and sent it off to the ship with one of the message runners, hoping it wouldn't take too long to hear a response. He and the rest of the men spent their time making repairs to your mother's house, gathering herbs and ingredients, and a few times making half day journeys to the closest markets for supplies and food.
The house really was much too small for five people, but you all made do. Your mother and father shared her bed, while Raxe and Caspian lay their sleeping mats out on the floor, insisting you have the small cushioned settee your mother had in the main room. As cramped as it was, you found you were enjoying it. Having everyone together felt as it did when you were growing up, with an inn full of people, always busy, always someone to talk to.
Though when you did need a break, as you often did, you would step outside and sit on the hammock. This particular night was a bit chilly, as it had rained and was overcast most of the day. Your parents had gone to bed, but you were not yet tired. Your mind had been racing all day, fighting the anxiety that came from watching your mother's condition worsen. You decided to sit outside, and rocked back and forth, staring out onto the water as a lit torch cast an eerie glow over the porch. Caspian came out of the house towards you, carrying a blanket.
"Here. It's much too cold for you to be out here like that." He motioned to your sleeveless vest, and wrapped the blanket over your shoulders.
"Thanks." You smiled at him as he sat next to you. "Is everyone else asleep?"
"Raxe is cleaning up the tools we were using to patch that leak in the roof, but I think he is going to bed after."
"Thanks for doing that, by the way. I hope it wasn't too much trouble."
"Nah... that was minor labor compared to catching those wild chickens..." He chuckled.
"I would say I'm sorry they gave you such a hard time, but it was really funny. I was rooting for the chickens after a while." You laughed.
"Oh really?" He laughed. "Good to know my little secret actively enjoys my humiliation."
"Mmm." You smiled to yourself.
"What?" He looked over at you, with the gleam of a laugh still in his eyes.
"Just... you calling me yours again..." You felt a touch of pink rise to your cheeks.
"I hope you feel that you are." He lowered his voice.
"Yes." You looked into his eyes. "I don't think I ever felt otherwise."
His face softened in an affectionate smile, and he brushed your hair from your face, placing his hand behind your head. He pulled you in and kissed you gently, sending a shiver all over your body at the delicate touch of his lips. He rested his forehead against yours.
"I can't tell you how much I missed being able to do that." He whispered.
"Nowhere near as much as I did." You responded, not opening your eyes.
You heard a smile in his voice. "I doubt that, My Starlight."
Your heart all but exploded at the sound of his name for you, you tried to remain composed, but you couldn't help the biggest, dumbest smile from crossing your lips.
He let out a soft chuckle. "You missed hearing your name?"
You nodded enthusiastically, looking into his eyes, not trusting your words.
He laughed softly. "I missed using it."
He kissed you again, and this time, you responded with a bit more fervor. Pressing your tongue against his, tasting every bit of him you could. He bit your bottom lip, knowing exactly what that did to you. You let out a soft moan, as he pulled it slightly in his teeth. The blanket dropped from your shoulders, exposing your bare arms to the cold air. You got a rush of goosebumps, but you weren't sure if it was from the cold or from his fingers starting to trace down your back.
His lips moved to your neck, but he didn't bite down like he knew you expected him to, causing you to pulsate with desire. You ran your fingers through his hair, tugging it slightly. You felt his breath on your neck as he suppressed his moans with each pull. It was enough to drive him to your will, he bit down on your sensitive skin, sending a spasm of chills throughout your body.
"Fuuuck..." You whispered, and you felt him smile against you. The second he gave you a respite, you ripped off his shirt, and he took the invitation to unlace your vest as you continued your passionate kissing. You're not sure how, but you managed to unlace your pants and slide them down just under your ass as he gently pushed you backwards into the hammock.
He straddled you, with a surprising show of balance, and pulled his pants down to expose his massive cock, already solid as a mast. He gently leaned forward, bracing his body with his arms on either side of your head. You grabbed his hips with your hands and pulled them in towards you, wordlessly begging for him.
He slid inside you, and the sensation was beyond your ability to contain. You clasped your hand over your mouth as your eyes rolled back into your head, trying to muffle your sounds. He bit his lip, fighting against his own sounds of ecstasy as he pumped inside you. The fire from the torch flickered, and showered the outline of his body with a warm glow. You drank in his form as his muscles flexed over you, both of you wordlessly immersed in the rapture of each other's warmth.
The curve of the hammock allowed for new, mind numbing, sensations. His cock massaged unexplored areas inside you as he steadily as he thrust himself inside you with increasing speed. It had been way too long since you shared anywhere near this level of intimacy, and you felt him coaxing an orgasm from you, but you didn't want it to end.
"Caspian... slow...you're getting me close..." You finally broke the silence of your mutual hushed panting and grunting.
"I'm not sure how much longer I can last, My Pet." He growled deeply. "You feel too fucking good..."
But he obeyed nonetheless, slowing his hips into a steady rhythm. His hair fell over his face as he hung over you, his biceps flexing as he maintained both your balance in the hammock. You ran your fingers over the curves of his arms, feeling the muscles tense with each thrust. You left a trail of goosebumps over his skin as your fingers traveled up his arms and over his back. His warm breaths visibly formed in the cool night air as he strained to contain his sounds of pleasure. You felt him shake as he begged through a whisper,
"Please... Let me pull that euphoric release from you... I need to feel your body quiver beneath me... I need to make you tighten around this cock... My Love... please cum for me..."
Even if you wanted to, you couldn't hold back any longer, not after that... The ripples of your orgasm sent your body into a convulsion. You tensed with the effort of keeping yourself from screaming. Your fingers raked across his back as you contained yourself, digging your nails into him.
"Yes... My Pet... yes... " He huffed as you felt him press himself deep inside you. His head flew back as his abdomen contracted and you felt his warm cum fill you. "Fuuuck..." he sighed, and his body relaxed as he pulled out of you. He carefully situated himself next to you, so as to not tip the hammock, and held you tightly.
You felt his heart racing, and his skin was so warm you could see a faint steam rising off him in the cool air. You felt for the blanket, and pulled it over both of you as best as you could without moving too much.
"That was not what I came out here for..." He chuckled.
"Mhm right." You giggled.
"I swear." He laughed and kissed you on the top of the head. "I came out to see if there was anything you needed."
"This." You sighed happily, nuzzling into his neck. "I needed this."
"Me too." He spoke softly. "I missed this more than you could ever know. Every night alone was torture for me."
"Me too. I'm sorry for putting us through all that..."
"You have nothing to be sorry for. I was the one who persued you even knowing our destinies lay divided."
"Even so, I love that you did." You murmured. "Is that wrong of me?"
His laugh vibrated your chest. "It seems we both enjoy a little wrongdoing then."
"Well...I am a pirate..." You chuckled.
"Yet I'm the one doing the plundering..."
A burst of laughter escaped, and you quickly covered your mouth as he laughed silently.
The wind blew, and threatened the little flame on the torch. A shiver ran down your body. The fog was thickening, and it was becoming uncomfortably cold, even under the blanket, which was beginning to absorb the water from the fog.
"Come on. We should go in." Caspian urged.

That night you fell asleep on the settee, with Caspian directly beside you on the floor. Your hand hung over the edge in his, and he didn't let go all night.
