I opened the box to find a Vintage Lace V-neck Applique Embroidery Wedding Dress, I hurriedly put it on and stood in front of the tall length mirror and instantly I felt like a princess the dress was more than elegant I couldn't help wonder if Nikklaus would like it. I frowned at my makeup it was too plain Jane so I grabbed me red plum lipstick and applied it to my lips an instantly it picked up the look of my dress.
"You look beautiful" a chirpy voice said snapping me out of my day dream.
"Cara" I said turning around to face the preppy blonde.
"I'm not going to lie I was upset when I heard you killed Elena and I couldn't help but liken you onto Klaus and it didn't help when Elijah told me you were marrying that monster but I couldn't really deny Elijah help I kind of owe him for saving my mom so I helped orchestrate your mess of a wedding your welcome by the way, but a few minutes ago as I was arranging the flowers Bonnie and Elena called Stephen who is still very angry about that mean trick by the way! Thank you for not being like klaus and I believe you will change him for the best so I hope you don't mind I took it upon myself to help you get ready" Caroline said with a warm guilty smile.
"Thank you I would love that" I replied
She nodded and picked up the pace veil and placed it upon my head then she passed me the white pair of stiletto pumps, I smiled and took it from her and slipped it onto my feet. She grinned and placed a small blue flower clip in my hair and she put a small silver diamond necklace around my neck.
"You look perfect" she said admiring my outfit
"Thank you Caroline, for everything and I'm sorry for snapping your neck" I said
"It's okay you did it to save Elena I don't mind" she said making me roll my eyes.
"This town and their damned doppelgänger" I said sarcastically
"What?" She asked confused
"Nothing" I said shaking away my thoughts.
The organ began to play and Caroline smiled gesturing for me to walk ahead I nodded and walked over to the study where I had locked away my in laws but no one was in the study it was empty I scrunched my eyebrows up and chalked it as a spell mishap.
Caroline linked her arm in mine and we made our way down the staircase which was decorated with pink and white orchard vines, Caroline guided me down the stairs and out of the house through the back door standing in the Mikaelson backyard was a mixture of guest all looking at me I shifter nervously under their gaze but that all disappeared when I saw the man of my dreams standing in a black and white tuxedo his hair slicked back underneath a gazebo which was decorated in fairy lights and orchards a small band of vileness began to play here comes the bride and our little kol stood as a priest next to him. Caroline handed me my bouquet it was white roses with red dots bound together by a silk ribbon I smiled in glee, Elijah came to my side and linked my arm with his I looked at him shocked.
"Eli, shouldn't you be next to Marcel?" I asked him curiously
"Things with Katherine and I didn't work out, she believes this is a trap by my brother" Elijah said in a stone cold voice yet I could hear the heartbreak in his words
" she doesn't deserve you Elijah you will find the right one when the time is right" I said soothing him
"Tell me Trish what do you value your magic or my brother?" Elijah asked me
"Your brother of course why do you ask" I asked him confused.
"Don't worry" he answered holding his other hand out for a beautiful Rebekah to take.
She was clothed in an A line sweetheart princess bridal gown and her veil was short and pinned into her curled undo. She shed tears as she looked around, I smiled knowing I had fulfilled one of my promises. I looked ahead at nick staring into his piercing blue eyes and as we neared each other butterflies crept into my stomach and my breath hitched.
He held out his hand for me and I took it standing in front of him everyone and everything else seemed to blur into a white haze. I gazed lovingly into his eyes.
"Ladies and Gentlemen today we are gathered here to join together two women and men into holy matrimony" Kol said
" Nikklaus do you take Trishna to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Kol asked Nikklaus
"I do" Nik answered with a broad smile
"Do you Trishna take Nikklaus to be you your lawfully wedded husband?" Kol asked me
"I do" I replied smiling back at nick
"Nikklaus you may say your vows now" Kol said
"Trishna I vow to love you in every moment, time and breath that we spend on this earth no matter how far away from each other I will love you, I vow to keep you safe and never cause you pain most importantly I vow to keep you happy I also vow to stand and support you in every decision forever and always " Nikklaus said placing a gold engraved adding band around my ring finger.
"Trishna you may now say your vows" Kol said
"Nikklaus I vow to never cause you pain I vow to keep you happy, I vow to stand by your side no matter how tough the storm, I vow to love you unconditionally and to pardon your mistakes no matter what I vow to be your best friend, your wife and much more until the end of time forever and always and with the hope of sounding not to cheesy I would like to quote something from my favourite TV show 'our love story is epic, it spans oceans, continents, lives ruined and lots of bloodshed' but no matter what the future brings for us I vow to always come back to you" I said as tears fell from my eyes he gave me a small smile and squeezed my hand I smiled back and slipped onto his ring finger the original wedding band I gave to him years ago it was a thick golden band with Always engraved on the inside of the ring.
"Does anyone object to this wedding?" Kol asked the audience. Expecting no one to say I do I smiled reassuringly to nikklaus who stood tensed
" I object" A venomous pain filled voice Shrieked out loud causing us to snap our heads in the direction of a fuming Damon Salvatore. Klaus let out a dark cynical laugh and stroked his chin looking away from Damon.
"What are you doing Damon?" I asked in an annoyed and exasperated tone.
"I'm doing what I should have done centuries ago, you can't marry Klaus, I love you Trishna Ariebella Khan! I have loved you from the very first time I set my eyes on you, I love your kind and forgiving heart and I love the way your dimples when you smile and the way your nose scrunches up when you are annoyed, I love your big eyes and the innocence that still hides within them, so if you feel even remotely the same you will leave that alter and run away with me" Damon said with a certain fear in his eyes
"Oh, this is just grand the one day I pick to share my love with the women I love and some one just has to go and ruin it!, what is it with people! can I not have a day in which I'm happy, one Bloody day is that so damn hard" klaus snapped tensing up
"I loved her before you loved her!" Damon retorted
"Well I married her first, you were a little slow mate" Klaus said anger radiating off his body
"Stop it!" Rebekah cried in frustration
"It's Mikaelson, my last name it's been Mikaelson ever since 1920! I love Nik Damon and he is the one for me, I'm sorry but I don't love you romantically anymore but you will always be my first love and I will always love you as a friend" I said quickly trying to gently reject him.
"What?" He asked in a pained time
"I love Nik" I repeated turning to face Nik who looked relieved
"I don't believe you!" Damon cried in anguish he was about to elaborate when Elijah snapped his head causing Elena, Cara, Bonnie and Stephen to rush to his aid.
"If your doing this to protect Elena you don't have to anymore I turned her!" Stephen said as Caroline and Bonnie carried Damon away.
"I'm doing this because I love Nikklaus and I want to spend the rest of my life with him is that to hard for anyone to digest! Not everything revolves around stupid dopplegangers and plots and schemes sometimes people's intentions are pure" I said agitated
"If that is your wish fine but you deserve someone who will treat you like a queen and not like puppet" Stephen huffed walking away.
I sighed and Kol cleared his throat causing me to face Nikklaus who looked at me with anxious eyes, "I have a lot of baggage that comes with me and I understand after that display if you don't want to marry me, but I want you to know I love you Nikklaus Mikaelson and no one or nothing can change that" I said staring deeply into his eyes.
"Have you met my baggage? I love you too Trishna I will always love you no mater what happens in the future" he said with a light voice
"Shall we get on with it then?" Kol asked as we both nodded
"Great so if no one else objects, by the power invested in me by the state I now pronounce you Husband and Wife again, you may now kiss the bride" Kol said
After those words reached Nikklaus's ears he grabbed me and pulled me close crashing his lips against mine, the crowd cheered and we pulled apart.
"Attention ladies and gentlemen before we proceed with the next wedding I have a surprise for the newly weds" Elijah boomed
"You deserve to spend your life with each other and I would not want a stupid thing like a werewolf bite to stop that, because Trisha you make my brother a better person, so with the kind help from our mother Ester we were able to find a cure however it requires a sacrifice and I didn't want to force you into anything so I'm here to ask you, are you willing to sacrifice your power?" Elijah asked me
"Yes" I replied in a heartbeat
" Trishna!, don't be hasty, my mother isn't as nurturing and loving towards me as this, it could be a trap, don't do anything you will regret!" Nik shouted trying to reason with me.
"Forever with you Nik is enough for me I don't need my magic" I replied
"It is the only way to save her brother" Elijah added
"I don't trust my mother" Nikklaus said turning to me with concern
"I don't either but I trust Elijah through everything he has always pushed for us to work things out!" I said
"It's your decision love whatever the outcome I will love you the same" Nik said
"I will sacrifice my power" I said with a broad smile
Ester smiled wickedly and walked over to me in her hand was a bowl with ingredients she reached out her blade for me to take.
"It requires your blood willingly" she said in a sweet deceitful tone. I nodded and sliced my palm letting the blood fall into the bowl she took the knife from me and ignited the ingredients on fire as it combust into flames I found the air being sucked out of me and a great sense of weight being lifted off me.
"It's done" she said to Elijah
"Brilliant, Attack!" Elijah order and suddenly a hooded person plunged a dagger into Nikklaus's heart I screeched and grabbed him as he fell to the ground I tried to stop them but my power had been taken I tried pulling out the dagger but it wouldn't come off suddenly he began to turn into an ashy pale colour and chains wrapped around him I tugged at them but it was of no use. Tears fell helplessly from my eyes and Nik looked at me with a sad look his condition began to worsen so I tried to give him some blood but when I went to bite into my wrist my fangs had disappeared.
"Somebody HELP ME please!" I cried looking around but all the guest throats had been slit.
"Rebekah! Marcel!" I screamed out but their were only screams of chaos in the air I stood up and ran towards the alter behind me where Kol had stood but he too was daggered I looked around the swarm of bodies to see Rebekah in the same condition and laying by her feet was a be headed Marcel
"Elijah Please stop this!" I cried to my best friend who stood their watching his brother turn to ash.
" why should I?" He asked me coldly
"He is your brother Elijah! Family isn't meant to hurt each other" I cried pleading with him. He laughed at me mercilessly a evil glint in his eyes.
"Why should I pardon his mistakes, he has only made me miserable and alone , why should I give him back his love when he has stolen mine countlessly, he had kept me daggered and encased away from humanity for most of my years his anger and guilt has turned him into a monster he devours my happiness so why should I grant him any?" Elijah asked me
"I beg of you Elijah don't do this, Nikklaus really does love you and Rebekah with all his heart in his every motive he had placed you to first, I agree with you his methods are unconventional and Cruel but he does it in the best interest of you both and out of love he would place himself in front of a gun any day for you!" I cried
"Maybe so, but it's time my brother tasted his medicine and what better way to inflict the pain he has caused me then through you!" He chuckled evilly and without another blink he plunged his hand in my chest braking my Ribcage causing me excruciating pain but it was nothing compared to how I felt seeing Nikklaus lay their betrayed and in pain trapped in a shell! Elijah pushed me back and I fell wid a thump into a broken chair leg causing it to go right through my spine and plunge right below my heart I turned my head as a tears slipped from my tear ducts to see Nik crying.
"I love you Nikklaus!" I cried with my last breath before I began to suffocate in my own blood.
