The story revolves around a girl named Talitha Diaz  and a boy named Rohan Vanderwood.

Their fathers were best friends growing up, so I think you could see from where the ties came.

In the beginning of the story, we see a girl named Talitha Diaz sitting on the balcony of her apartment sipping tea.
Her phone started ringing, she was beyond frustrated with that . But as she looked at the screen all the frustration flew away and was replaced with shock.
She could not believe her own eyes. The number for which she waited years and years just to get a call from, has finally called.
She picked up.
" Hello...." a deep voice greeted from the other side.
She could not form any words. Her breath was snatched.
" Talitha, it's me.... do you recognize me ? "
She swallowed the lump in the throat.
" R-rohan " her voice trembled a little.
"Yes, you remembered I promised ? " he chuckled.
" It took you 10 years to give a call ?? " she questioned with a hint of sarcasm.
" Let's meet first, I will tell you everything " he stated, a tone of desperation can be heard.
" Deja Brew, I hope you remembered it " she was quick to reply.
" Ok, bye sweetie " he hunged up.
She was processing it all, too much for her pretty brain.
