- 1. i've decided he actually needs a reason to be the way he is because ain't no way poppy and jaxson could just raise a villain like him fr 2. in his first year at the academy was when the judas society was starting to come back around. it was becoming harder to convince parents of students that half-bloods should be allowed to attend. dean was one of the few that slipped through the cracks because poppy was his mum 3. because of this, he got the brute end of harrowing pretty badly, but he'd hide it from his parents and teachers 4. but it definitely caused a little self loathing and eventually, they managed to get it in his head that they managed to make him a great warlock, but that doesn't mean other halfbloods could do the same 5. so, thus began the hatred of halfbloods (despite having a mortal father) and mortals in general 6. prior to it though, real sweetheart. sure, he wasn't the nicest or most confident like caliban, but he had a close knit group of friends and he treated them all well. he still did even after rising the ranks in the society 7. scarily good at magic, but he kinda had to be so it's not by choice. 8.he's actually better at healing, like poppy, than curses and other spells. definitely makes him a little more resentful of poppy - family, immediate: 1. jaxson herron-dahlberg, father 2. poppy herron-creek, mother 3. farrah creek, sister
