- trivia 1. soon after the burial of corvus leatherwood, widow maeve lafant was visited by the young traitor - adelé derevaux - in an attempt to make peace. while there, adelé performed a simple "old wives tale" trick, predicting maeve lafant was with 2 children - both boys 2. maeve lafant was "given a choice" promptly after the death of one corvus leatherwood - she could have both of her children so long as she waved her now independence (in the absence of a husband), or she'd be hung for the treason in place of the previously mentioned leatherwood 3. opting for the first one, her mind began to slip due to invasions of it by gabriel lafant as he attempted to force her hand 4. in the end, a deal was made that if maeve allowed "influence of the first born" by both gabriel lafant and sinistra leatherwood, she would ultimately be left alone. 5. when the twins were born, caelum came first, and he was taken by sinistra to be named while maeve delivered her second son. 6. while maeve was left to her own devices with evrin, caelum was primped and prepped to be the "redo corvus" 7. basically, this kid is downright miserable. 8. he's a real sweet kid too, very quiet and docile, really just wants to be left alone
