II- Knife x tall reader (fluff)

It's a bit short.

You had recently joined a object show called II on season 2. You were pretty tall, and towers after most of the other contestants.
Do obviously you bumped into the other contestants
But one in particular caught your eye!
The self titled "jerk" knife. You question why he calls himself a jerk when he's really just a respectful guy. You and him eventually crossed paths and he looked at you confused "Ow what the hell?" h would blurt out. He would look at you about to say something before looking up at you. "Wtf" he added.
"Oh sorry are you ok?" you then asked visibly concerned.
"Ya slender man" he chuckled at his somewhat insult "watch where you are going next time, preferably at the ground and not the sky. Hoe-" you would let out a laugh before smiling slightly "sorry! I'm new, my names [o/n]
"[O/n]? Cool I'm knife. See you around or whatever."
usually he would say some small talk before leaving but he bailed quickly. He'll deny it but it's definitely cuz of ur height.

Soon a few days into the time there you would keep meeting with each other and formed a small bond, a friendship If you will. You're talks became longer an knife would open up about he's worries and you would usually comfort him, even if you suck ass at it, the thought that you cared enough about him makes him happy.
But lately he has been talking about someone called Taco, you hadn't really watched the show before joining but you've heard she wasn't exactly a trust worth person. You were at Hotel OJ since OJ had allowed everyone (minus balloon) to live rent free.

You were on your phone before knife came in, he mad sure you two were roommates since you were really his closet friend along with pickle. "Hey" he would spoke annoyed, "oh hey are you ok?" you'd ask.

"I came back from the forest and Taco is planning to help microphone cheat to win on the show"

you were a bit shocked
"Oh really? That's so not fair!"
He would groan before sitting next to you and grumbling

Soon you and knife were giggling away to stupid videos. You noticed that knife would sometimes look up at you randomly with no pattern behind it. But you chalked it up to being nothing before you two fell asleep and him laying his head on your shoulders (if he could reach it idk how tall you wanted to be-)

The next day knife was a bit quiet.

Day after that you could see him hey a bit more kinder

Day after that he was slightly pushing himself away

Day after that he was becoming more and more flustered when he saw you.

Day after day after day he grew more and more in love with you.
Not obsessed, not creepy, more awkward since he never felt this way.
Days became weeks then weeks became months before a month became a year, and thats when he decided to ask you out.

"Hey [O/n].."
"Oh hey Knife!"
"So yk how we've been friends for a year..?" he would ask awkwardly
"Yeah! Of course! Why?" you would smile
"Well uh- uhm- I was UH- You know- thinking.?" he went red, not knowing how to say this.

After moments of slipping over his words he finally got it

He wanted to jump out. Building and into spikes for being so cringy
While you were a bit flushed by the confession you felt your heart Implode. "Uh- sure!"

Knife was honestly shooked you had accepted his confession he immediately hugged you
He wasn't the type of person to make out with someone the moment they say they like him back.
He needed to make sure you were comfortable, and not forcing anything on you.
He was on the verge of tears
And happy to finally have you to hug and (later down the relationship when you are more comfortable) kiss
You were a bit surprised by this since you were usually oblivious to the obvious things. But you were happy!

You were so happy you exploreded and the world ended/j

You were so happy that he cared for you and would stay by you almost all the time unless it's yk a personal thing.
He's not going to just stare at you while you shit or sum- although he would still call himself a jerk he was anything but, usually you sneak into the forest and have picnics. While Taco watches from the trees lmao.
You and him were almost inseparable. The silliest if you will.
Then you kiss and live happily ever after idfk how to end stories 😻😘
