"Nope, you're not." I told him, shaking my head. I put my elbows on the desk where my phone was propped up, and I rested my head in my hands, waiting for Jamie to either dig himself a bigger grave, or make it all better.

"Well, I don't think love of my life beats my soulmate, who I love so very much." He pulled out the puppy dog eyes and his pouty face, which he knows I can't resist.

"Jamieeeee!" I said, whining a little bit and elongating the end of his name.

"Yes, pretty girl?"

"You know I can't say no to you when you give me that face." I said, pouting right back at him.

"Why do you think I did it?" He asked, now smirking at me.

"Oh shut up. I have to get ready for bed." I said.

"Can I watch?" Jamie asked. I could see he was trying to hold back his laughter a little bit at his own cheekiness.

"Well who else would watch me?" I asked, trying my best to flirt in the littlest way.

"Just me. Only ever me. Forever. I want to kiss you so bad right now." My face softened, and a smile slowly started forming on my face.

"I miss you." I said softly.

"I miss you too baby, I'm bummed you can't make it to the Niagara game." He said, the smile fading from his face.

"Me too. I'm sorry I can't get out of it."

"It's your grandma's birthday baby, I wouldn't let you get out of it even if you could. You can't miss out on that, plus Amelia will be there!" He said, trying to make me feel better.

"That is true, I do love my niece. I know she's 3 but she keeps asking to meet you." I told him, and his eyes lit up, a big smile crossing his face.

"I can't wait to meet her too, she's so adorable and the videos you send me are so funny." Jamie said, I could feel the happiness radiating through the phone as he spoke. I started getting ready for bed while Jamie pulled out his computer again doing some homework. I took my makeup off, washed my face, and brushed my teeth in the washroom before coming back to my room and changing into shorts and a tank top. I grabbed my phone and crawled into bed, propping my phone up on the blanket fort I made weeks ago for our FaceTime calls. We continued to talk and Jamie surprisingly fell asleep before I did, but I wasn't too far behind him.

looks like the roadie to erie won't be happening :(

Was the text I woke up to from Hannah on March 12th. We had planned to go down to Erie for a four day road trip to see the boys. I never ended up making it to the game in Niagara, so I hadn't seen Jamie for two weeks, talking every night was not the same as being able to hold him and kiss him.

wait wdym?

I asked her.

look at the news

I opened twitter and everything everywhere was the corona virus cancelling and closing everything for three weeks. March break had just started, so we were going to go down at some point this week to surprise them. Jamie and Emmett didn't know anything. As I was about to go to Jamie's contact to call him, he called me.

"Did you see?" He asked without saying hello.

"Yeah, I just saw, Hannah texted me about it." I said, sadness pained in my voice.

"Yeah, we all have to pack up and go home. I think the season's going to be cancelled. None of this looks good." He said, I could tell from his voice that he was very upset about the news.
