Deadline for Submissions: 14th March 2024, at 23:59 EST.
The story must be written in English. You can either write prose or poetry.
Word count for prose is 1000 to 1500 words. Word count for poetry is 100 to 500 words.
You can publish your entry as a new book or a standalone chapter in an already published book.
No existing stories. Your entry needs to be a new story specifically written for the challenge and using our prompt.
You can enter multiple entries per user but each entry must adhere to the word limit.
No co-written stories allowed.
Your story can be fanfiction as long as it adheres to the prompt. It should be marked as everyone and follow Wattpad Content Guidelines.
You are free to interpret the prompts however you like, as long as we can see the basis of it in your entry.
You can add the tag #JustWriteCollab to your story.

This is a writing challenge, not a contest, which means there are no first place winners - only great pieces of fiction and talented authors. But we do look for a certain quality in literature, so the best entries stand a chance to -
