Chapter 5

No one POV

Branch: Hey Floyd!
Floyd: Good morning Branch
-He said in a sleepy tone-
Branch: Let me guess, anime marathon?
Floyd: Yep! Anyway where were you?
Branch: Long story short, I have to sing with the snack pack at the wedding and they want to sing "PERFECT" but we need an album for the song and they're asking if you have one
Floyd: All of that is at grandma house
Branch: Oh, well you wanna come with me?
Floyd: K, give me two minutes

-Floyd started getting ready and he's running around the house, this things happened everyday and Branch is so used to it, every once in a while Branch does videos or photo and they're always hilarious when they watch it a few days later-

Branch POV

"Ok I'm ready" Floyd says out of breath,
They start going to grandma house.

"It's been a while since we've been there..." I said, "yeah, since we've escaped the tree, it's been a long time..." Floyd said with nostalgia.

*Time skip*
Branch: We're here
-They enter-
Branch: I've almost forgot how grandma had decorated this place
Floyd: Well, grandma had very questionable taste
-There is a minute of silence-
Branch: I'll go check the bedrooms
Floyd: And I'll check the living room
-And with that they separated-

"Well, I'd better start" I said to myself, I open mine and Floyd old room. At first it was Clay and Floyd room but when I was born he asked to be in JD and Spruce room.
Then I shake my head like it would help me to get those memories out of my head, this place brings back a lot of memories...

I look for a bit in that room but there isn't nothing, so I go over the next door but I didn't found the courage to open it, it was JD, Spruce and Clays room... I stood there just staring at the door.

After a while I found the strength to let go of the knob and I go straight to grandma room. I open the door and I see immediately the vinyl player next to the bed; grandma never put this that go together too far away from each other so I knew that the album should be near.
So I start looking.

After a while I've found a box that is covered in a thick layer of dust, I open it and there is our old band album and a lots of photo album.

Floyd POV

While Branch is looking in the bedrooms I start searching the living room.
It makes me said knowing that this place was once full of life and now it's empty and with a lot of dust and plants.
I keep searching but nothing is here, so I decided to go over to Branch.

I go over the first door, mine and Branch old room, the dust is in the air so he has already search here.

The next door is Clay, Spruce and John old room, it's covered in dust, no one has entered here after that night, everything was left the same, not a single thing has been moved by an inch.

There's only one bedroom left, grandma bedroom. I see branch sitting on the bed, staring at something.

Floyd: Branch you're ok?
Branch: Yeah just thinking how was everything before the concert... and I found this old photo album, and I just realised that I don't know anything about them...
Floyd: If you want I can tell you a lots of funny stories
Branch: I don't know what I would do without you, I'm so grateful that you didn't left
Floyd: Me too, at least we can always lean on each others
-I start hugging Branch, I'm happy that we're together and that day I've promised to myself that I would always protect him-

Floyd: What did you say if now we brings this album to the snack pack?
Branch: Ok, but first I need to ask you something...
Floyd: Ok, what's up?
Branch: You know that I have to sing... but I don't-
Floyd: You don't want to sing that song but if you don't you think that would ruin the wedding?
Branch: Well... yes, but the worst part is that I promised Poppy... and i wanted to ask if you... I mean... I don't want to sing alone
Floyd: Ok I get it, and yes I'll sing with you and the others
Branch: Thank you, you're the best!
Floyd: You're welcome, and you know that I would do anything for you, you're my brother and I'll be always here to help you
-And with that they've left grandma house-

No one POV

???: Hey king Gristle!
Gristle: Hey man, you've made it! And how you've been?
???: I'm fine and your wedding had give me a reason to came back... anyways it been forever since I've saw you!
Prince D: King G! You have to finish getting ready
Gristle: Oh, sorry man but I have to go, I'm so happy that you are here. See you later!

Poppy POV

"Bridget you look stunning!!! Now excuse me but I've to check something, I'll be right back!" I've said while closing the door, she said something but i didn't hear her, and I run off.

I go over the snack pack, Branch and Floyd "Ok guys have you decided the song-" but I didn't have the time to finish that I hear "BLAIR IS THAT YOU!?!?!?!" And someone hugs me thigh
