Nag work from home si Roni at Borj. Since friday naman, hinde masyado heavy ang work load, sa Condo ni Borj sila nagstay.
Nakafocus si Borj sa Laptop nya "ermm Babe, natatandaan mo pa yung pinagbakasyunan naten after namin manalo sa Basketball?"
Roni looks at him "Borj, alin dun? Eh madame tayong napupuntahan after ng games nyo"
"Yung kasama naten si Carol. Hinde ba magkaaway pa sila ni Yuan noon? Yung sa Lucban, Quezon" [Episode 37 for reference]
It took her a minute to remember "Ah yun ba. Oo, yung hinde ko nasagot yung tanong mo pero yung diary alam na alam ang sagot ko dun. What about it?" Takang tanong nito
"Nabili na pala nina Lola yun a few summers ago. Parang rest house daw if ever na kailanganin naten kasi diba we all work na"
"No way?! Talaga? Biruin mo yun sa inyo pa mapuounta yung place na yun. Ang sweet naman nina Lola, lagi kame kasamasa mga thoughts nila"
"Ano ka ba babe, sa simula pa lang, family na ang turing namin sa inyo. Wag ka na magdrama dyan"
"Tamo to, nang asar ka pa talaga" she pretended to be annoyed.
"Erm since hinde naten nacelebrate ang 1st anniversary na magkasama at nasa Italy ako and the wedding of Yuan happened, bat hinde na lang naten icelebrate ng maaga ang 2nd anniversary naten? Dun sa rest house how about it?"
She smiled widely "Sige babe. Para naman makapagrelax tayo. Dame na din ang nangyare these past several months"
Borj was glad to hear that. To be honest, matagal na nyang pinaplano ito. Nakapagpaalam na sya sa parents ni Roni at sa grandparents nya "how about next weekend. Clear your schedule. This will be a work-free Zone"
Maagang umalis ang dalawa para mga lunch na sila makarating sa rest house. Dumaan pa sila saglit sa Kamay Ni Hesus for a short prayer.
Once they arrived, tuwang tuwa si Roni "Parang walang nagbago. Ganun na ganun pa din ang vibe" comment ni Roni while Borj gets their stuff from the trunk of the car.
"Ang dame naten memories dito no" Borj said as he carried their bags into the main house.
After settling in, umupo sila sa balcony with the view of the pool "Happy?" Borj asked
Roni took a whiff of the fresh air that they missed "Very. Pero Babe since ang layo nito at hinde naman kayo masyado nauwi dito sa Lucban, pano namemaintain ang lugar na to eh ang laki ng property"
"May mga kinuhang groundsman sina lola para malinisan once a month at yung garden naman minemaintain ni Aling Annabeth"
Roni was impressed "that's nice. Kahit iwanan mo ako dito, hinde ako mag cocomplain" she then leaned back on her chair and enjoyed the afternoon breeze.
Borj found this side of Roni so cute "aba naman Roni, hinde ako makakapayag na iwan ka dito. Madame ang magagalit tsaka hahanap hanapin ka ng puso ko"
Napatingin bigka si Roni sa boyfriend "Korni mo Bie" she then let out a big grin.
"Korni man pero nagsasabe lang ako ng totoo" he stood up and offered his hand "Tara na babe, dalhin kita sa kwarto mo para maayos mo na yung mga gamit mo"
Umakyat sila and he helped her with her bags "here ka matutulog. Mas presko dito from the rest of the house"
Roni sat down sa Bed also familiar sa kanya ang kwarto at duon sila natulog nina Jelai dati "ikaw.. san ka matutulog?"
Tumabi sya kay Roni "Gusto mo tabi tayo?" Pabirong hirit ng binata
She then pinched his cheeks "Asa ka Mr. JIMENEZ" she giggled
"Sa kabilang kwarto lang ako. Kung san kame natulog nina Yuan the first time naten magpunta dito"
