Y/n spends a lot of time at my house. I don't have a problem with it. I just wonder why she'd rather spend time here instead of at a house that makes mine look like a hut.
"I'm back." I say walking inside.
"And I remain the undefeated champion." Y/n says.
"You're over there cheating for sure." Griffin says.
"People used to just say GG and go about their day. We used to be a proper country." Y/n says.
"If you expect America to act a proper country, you'll always end up disappointed." Griffin says.
Y/n laughs and Griffin smiles.
Apparently Y/n really likes Griffin. I don't see why though. I've known him my entire life and he's not appealing at all.
"Oh, hey. When you'd get here?" Y/n says, noticing me.
"I just said - whatever." I say.
"Uh, Griffin, you gotta go." I say.
"For what?" Griffin asks.
"Do I need to give you a reason to leave my house?" I ask.
"Squatters rights." Griffin says.
"You wanna talk about rights, huh? Let's talk about my second amendment right." I say.
"Imma see you." Griffin says, getting up.
He hugs Y/n and she smiles. Griffin leaves and I smile.
"I've got a feeling that you don't like your brother." Y/n says getting off the couch.
"You're right, he is simply a parasite in my life." I say.
Y/n laughs and I smile.
"How do you feel?" I ask.
"Uh, fine." Y/n says.
"We're not just gonna ignore what happened last night." I say.
"I'd prefer it if we did." She says.
"The first step to feeling better is acknowledging how you feel and what happened." I say.
"Can we acknowledge how fine you look right now? Like, goddamn." She says.
I feel my face get hot and she smiles.
"We'll talk about this later." I say.
"I've got a feelings me and you are gonna end up doing a little more than talking." She says.
"Stop!" I say.
She laughs and I smile.
Time Skip; Y/n's View
"Are you fucking stupid? You told her you were a fraud?!" Max asks.
"I just felt really guilty after what Tommy said." I say.
"Man, fuck Tommy. Tommy is married to the runner up for Miss Universe and has 2 kids. He doesn't understand the hustle." Max says.
I laugh and he smiles.
Sam howls and I rub his belly.
"You're overreacting." I say giving Sam a treat.
"Nah, I'd act like that too if I took a nap and realized that my balls were gone." Max says.
I chuckle and the door opens.
"Uh, Y/n. There's someone up front who wants to speak to you." David says, walking in.
I nod and take my gloves off. I walk to the front and step into the lobby.
"Hey." I say.
"Hey, how's your shift been going so far?" Hailee asks.
"Pretty good." I say.
"Are you free tonight?" Hailee asks.
"Yeah." I say.
"You wanna go over to my parents' house for dinner?" Hailee asks.
"Not really." I say.
"Come on, they're excited to meet you." Hailee says.
"You told your parents about me?" I ask.
"I tell my parents everything. Especially when that thing is a really important part of my life." Hailee says.
"Alright." I say.
"Yay." Hailee says.
I smile and she kisses me.
"I'll text you." Hailee says.
I nod and she leaves.
"Fuck me." I mumble.
Time Skip; Hailee's View
"Is it too late to back out?" Y/n asks as we walk up to the door.
"Clearly." I say knocking.
The door opens and mom smiles. Mom hugs me and I smile.
"Mom, this is Y/n." I say.
"I've heard a lot about you." Mom says as they shake hands.
Y/n smiles and we walk inside.
"You're late sugar tits." Griffin says.
"Let not talk about tits, chubby." I say, playing hitting Griffin in the chest.
Y/n laughs and Griffin rolls his eyes.
25 minutes later...
"So you're an investor, right?" Dad asks.
"Yes, sir." Y/n says.
"I'd assume you'd made a lot of money from doing that." Dad says.
"Let's not pocket watch." Griffin says.
"I'm just trying to get a sense of financial stability. Are you financially stable, Y/n?" Dad says.
"Uh, yes sir." Y/n says.
"What's your credit score?" Dad asks.
"Oh my god." I mumble.
"Uh, maybe 750." Y/n says.
"Ooh, okay." Dad says.
"You think we could maybe move away from the money related questions?" I ask.
"Where do you see yourself in 5 years, relationship wise?" Mom asks.
"Hopefully married to this beautiful woman with a few little monsters running around." Y/n says turning to look at me.
I smile and kiss her cheek.
Time Skip
"You really wanna marry me?" I ask.
"Of course. Why wouldn't I?" Y/n says.
I smile and kiss her.
"I think I'm in love with you." Y/n says.
"I feel the same way about you." I say.
Y/n smiles and we kiss.
