I first noticed Y/n's sudden disappearances when she started spending more time at the library, that's what I thought . It seemed like every time I turned around, she was off on somewhere or searching for information about her family history

At first, I didn't think much of it. Y/n has always been eager to know about her past but that stopped her because she didn't want to waste her time and live the moment with Proffesor Lupin . I always admired her determination to learn more about herself. But as the days went by, her absences became more frequent and longer. She would often show up to class not on time or stays there longer, claiming she had been distracted or somehwhere else.

But it wasn't until today, she suddenly stood up and pulled out a vial of Arcomantual venom.

'Anyways I have to go,' Y/n replied, her voice shaking.

Before I could even register what was happening, she ran out of the common room, leaving me at the others . I didn't know what to make of her sudden urgency when we were just opening up a conversation because we've both been busy , and I couldn't help but wonder what was it that was this important

I had known Y/n for longer than anyone else before Hogwarts. We had been friends ever since, and I thought I knew everything about her. But lately, she had been acting so secretive and distant . The time the Boggart appeared , all it said was just admit it , but what was it. After that she's been away more if I'm not wrong .

I decided to ask her, I want to find out what was going on. I knew that she sometimes liked to have her solitude like she asked , like the greenhouse, so I headed there. But when I arrived, she was nowhere to be found.

Maybe she had gone to have a private lesson with Professor McGonagall again. But when I went to the Transfiguration classroom, she wasn't there either.

{Earlier today}
In the common rooms

'Hey y/n, is everything okay?' I asked.

'Of course, what do you mean?' Y/n replied,

'Nevermind, how's your head?' I said , even tho her and Ron seemed to be talking about something I am

I'll be right back,' I said, standing up and giving one last look to the vial before putting it back in my pocket.

'what do you have there ?' I asked curiously.

'Arcomantual venom' she said , As I was stunned to know how'd did she get one?

'How did you even get it' Ron trembles because last time we came across one was last year.

'From yesterdsy , me and Hagrid were going to visit Argog his Arcomantual but instead we met Mosage the female Arcomantual' y/n said looking at bottle with a frown .

She used to tell me everything and now she's been a mystery and I know Hermione might have a clue about it.

 It was unlike her to just disappear without a trace. And now, as we stood there, I couldn't help but voice out my concerns.

'Anyways, I'll be going now,' I said, breaking the silence.

'Where are you-' Ron began to ask, but then stopped himself all of a sudden. 'Nevermind, we'll see you,' he finished, trying to brush off his own suspicion.

I looked at Hermione and Ron, but neither of them had said a word about y/n's sudden departure. It was odd, and it only made my uneasiness grow.
