"have you ever been in love, jj?" scarlett questioned softly as she lay in the hammock with the blonde boy, his beautiful blue eyes became sad as he gazed at her.
"yeah, letty. i have, and i always will be." he whispered with a sad smile as he twirled her shoelace between his fingers.
"tell me about them?" she nudged his side gently as she sent him a smile; his breath caught in his throat at the sight. oh, how he missed that smile.
"she's the most beautiful girl i have ever met," she tilted her head slightly as she watched the boy stare off into the night sky. "she was my everything, but she forgot about me."
"i find that hard to believe; you're pretty unforgettable." she replied with a teasing smile. she furrowed her eyebrows when he looked on the verge of tears.
